Photographing couples tying the knot fills me with so much joy. I get such a buzz from so many aspects of the day. I get just as excited about the day as you do!
My approach to wedding photography is pretty relaxed and informal. I prefer to shoot "incognito" and get those natural, paparazzi style shots, seizing those moments as they happen. Most of the time you won't even know that I'm there! However, I will still capture all of those little details you’ve planned, the portraits for your mantelpiece and of course those 'feel good' photos of you having fun.
Services Offered
Finding the right wedding photographer is such an important step of your wedding journey... and one you must get right.
I am hoping that if you are reading this, you already have a connection with my style of photography and like what you see. However, I will be with you more than your maid of honour, your parents or even your partner. I will be with you in the hectic parts of the day, the most joyus and the most intimate. I will be the one giving you the reassuring look of "you've got this" seconds before you take your first step down the aisle. I will be the one grinning from ear to ear in those little unplanned monents of overwhelming happiness (yes, I smile as I shoot!) I know how important captruing your big day is, and how important it is to get along with your wedding photographer. Therefore, all packages are tailored to you, from start to finish! All packages include high-quality and personal coverage of your beautiful day and a pre-wedding consultation to discuss your wedding plans (which can be done over the phone or face to face, whichever you would prefer).
How will I receive my photos?
The high-quality fully edited images are sent digitally via personal link sent to you by email which will showcase your photos in an online gallery. In your email you will also recieve a unique pin code so that you can download the images. There is no extra charge for this. You can also share the link with your friends and family. As well as your online gallery, you will also recieve a USB stick with all your images sent by post.
How many photos will I get?
For a full day, you will receive between 500 to 700 fully edited images. I always choose quality rather than quantity. I will choose the best from the thousands that will get taken on the day and more significant photos to tell your story.

How far in advance should I contact you?
Anytime! I may be able to fit you in fairly last minute or over a year in advance
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, anywhere! Whether it’s local to me in Kent or somewhere a plane ride away. I would LOVE to capture your wedding!
What is the charge for travelling?
Price includes location within a 60 mile radius from Sittingbourne.
Over 60 miles will be at an extra cost.
Destination weddings are the same packages plus expenses
What style of photos do you take?
Other (I tend to photograph in a non-traditional, documentary way... with a little hint of editorial finesse. Less staged, more candid!)
What kind of technology do you use?
Digital
Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
Finding a photographer is a hard task in itself, you are with them all day! So I like to get to know my couples as friends and not "just business". The better the relationship, the better the photos!
What kind of equipment do you use?
I have 2 Canon R6 mirrorless cameras and several lenses but tend to stick to a 35mm and 85mm Sigma Art lens. I also have 2 flashes with diffusers so you don't end up with that "urgh" lighting!
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, i use Pixieset to send the photos via a personal link sent to your email. You will also receive a unique pin to share with family & friends so that you can download the images onto your devices
What's the delivery time for a photographic report?

The best choice we made was hiring Lois.
Lois is a creative genius! Upon recieving both our wedding photos we laughed and cried, and even jumped up and down. Lois is the sweetest soul and most fantastic photographer. Our first phone call interaction led us to immediately know we wanted to hire Lois, she was warm, funny and used buzz words we wanted to hear like "authentic and relaxed".
We booked a preshoot with Lois and for two introverts she made us feel relaxed and we had such belly laughs with her the whole day. The carried on for our wedding too. Every guest who was photgrapher by her said the same thing: that she is so lovely! Our pictures were something from a fairy tale and our family all agreed that Lois captured the vibe, the cosiness, and atmosphere of the day. Amazing wedding photographer
We couldn't have asked for a better photographer than Lois for our wedding day. She was so organised on the lead up to the wedding and on the day itself, and made everything so easy. She's so sweet and put us completely at ease whilst doing the couple portraits. We received so many compliments from our guests about how subtle she was and how kind she was to everyone.
The photos are better than we could have imagined. She gave us so many more photos than we expected and they're edited beautifully. We would definitely recommend Lois!

The best photographer
Lois photographed our wedding this year in May and we are so glad we chose her!! We couldn’t have wished for better photos, she got some of the most amazing candid shots of us and our guests! All of our photos were beautiful, Lois captured our day so well and we cannot thank her enough! We would a 100% recommend her to everyone we know☺️

Best photographer ever!
Lois is extremely talented, considerate, flexible and professional. Us and our bridal parties are all fairly awkward, yet she made us feel right at home in front of the camera, and the result were some stunning photos that perfectly captured our day! I would absolutely recommend her in a heartbeat, it's a guaranteed success!

Incredible!
Lois photographed my wedding last December and she was just amazing. She was so friendly from the start and made me feel so relaxed. The photos she took were just incredible and I can’t thank her enough. She made my wedding day so enjoyable and so special. We still talk about how lucky we were to find her!
She also took some family photographs for us and again it was such a great experience. Such lovely memories captured. She’s so talented! Thank you Lois! :)

Best Photographer
Lois was amazing on our big day, and she went above and beyond to capture our day. She captured some beautiful and raw moments during our ceremony that we wouldn’t have seen if it wasn't for the photos. After our ceremony which we didn’t expect. She took us around the city where we got married and took some lovely photos of us in a city where we both spent a lot of our time together in our relationship, which was lovely. Then as we were on our way to the reception area, we hit a bit of traffic which threw the timings off on our wedding and we had to change the order, and Lois was very accommodating. As all the timings were changed things fell a bit behind. Lois ended up staying 40 minutes past the time we have paid her for, so we could get all the photos we wanted. She kept us updated on how the editing was going and sent us a couple of samples while we were waiting, and they didn’t disappoint. All the photos are amazing, and we love the editing style she has done. would 100% recommend and will use again for future photos.

Words won't do Lois Brown justice
Easily the best decision we made for our wedding was hiring Lois Brown - we now have an endless catalogue of the most incredible photos we look at 24/7, and as well as obviously being insanely talented, she was so lovely to us that it was a bonus having her at the wedding. I rarely knew exactly where Lois was at the reception because she blended in so well and yet somehow our entire day was documented so incredibly from start to finish, and any time there was interaction, Lois was so sweet to everyone. Even in the morning when I was trying to figure out my jewellery, she helped me out on what to wear when I was too shaky to make an objective decision 😀 I never usually think to write reviews but I would recommend Lois to absolutely everyone, especially if you’re nervous at the prospect of having photos taken. My husband (!) and I had so many moments captured that I’ve never had the opportunity to see on film before, and it’s such a nice feeling that we get to keep forever. Absolutely no reason not to hire this ridiculously talented person so I would sign her up for your wedding like, yesterday. I would also add that her genuine excitement for us, our relationship and our day was the loveliest thing. Thank you so much for everything!

Lois Brown is simply the BEST!
Sometimes you just know when you meet the right person. The first moment I met my wife for example, a reciprocated moment I might add ;) Well, it was a similar story when we first saw Lois’ catalogue of photographic work and her intimate style really stood out from everything else we'd seen. We knew it had to be her who captured our wedding day and all those non-choreographed moments that are so easily missed or later forgotten, that is her undoubted talent!
The final results embodied in the massive volume of photographs was incredible and we are just so grateful and honored to call Lois not only our wedding photographer but also a treasured friend.

Lovely Lois!!
The beautiful Lois photographed our wedding in Rochester, Kent. We can’t thank Lois enough for capturing our special day. I’m notorious for being very awkward in front of the camera and usually don’t like pictures of myself, but meeting Lois really put me at ease!
Lois captured the most amazing candid shots of everyone and I’m not sure how she did it, but she also captured everyone’s unique personalities. I honestly look at my wedding photos almost everyday because I’m in awe of them.

Lois is amazing
From the moment we met Lois when planning we knew she had the right sense of humour and attitude for our wedding. She captured so many of the moments you don’t see when you’re busy being the bride and groom and was everywhere and nowhere at the same time, we didnt feel like we were being photographed but yet not a moment was missed. She dealt with the newlywed giggling and messing about that is so much part of our personalities by capturing those so well. Couldn’t recommend her more !!!
