Mark Chivers Photography is a wedding photography business located in Ealing, West London. Owner and lead photographer Mark has been working with couples on their special day for over 15 years. His friendly and outgoing personality combines with his relaxed and unobtrusive approach to encourage his clients to relax and have fun in front of the camera. Mark is passionate about capturing candid and romantic moments between couples, weaving their tale of romance into a wedding masterpiece.
Services Offered
Mark Chivers Photography is fully invested in your special day and believes that every precious moment should be documented. A range of expertly crafted wedding packages are offered and include services such as engagement shoots and additional hours. His most popular bundle includes the services of two photographers, a secure online gallery for friends and family to view, a beautiful presentation case and a USB key to store images. Mark is ready to jump in to direct group shots and facilitate portraits, but otherwise, he loves to work discreetly, documenting the day in the most natural way possible.

Beautiful and Professional Photos
We are very grateful to Mark for all he did before, during and after our wedding as our photographer.
Mark's questions in our first video call really got my husband and I thinking about what to expect and what needed planning. We had another call nearer the time, which helped put us at ease (we aren't big photo people). He also reassured me that it would be lovely to include our dog in some photos and I'm sp glad we did!
On the day he was brilliant with us and our friends and family. Lots of people commented on how great he was and impressed by his instructions. He was very flexible and took photos with our family members who wanted photos but who weren't on our original list.
His communication communication after our wedding was brilliant and we are so happy with our photos. They are stunning. He tweaked things, we asked him to and did so really quickly.
Mark went over and beyond. There are lots of decisions to be made when planning a wedding and I questioned many of our decisions along the way but we never regretted choosing Mark as our photographer!

Friendly, enthusiastic. Not in the way but still manages to get everyone together. Lovely shots both traditional and quirky! Our photos for our wedding are beautiful. Definitely recommend.

Cannot recommend highly enough!
Following our decision to have Mark as our photographer for our wedding earlier this year, it's easy to see why he has so many 5* reviews! From the planning process to the day itself and beyond, Mark has been helpful, friendly, flexible and professional. He has a real knack for making even the most camera shy amongst us feel at ease, resulting in really beautiful posed and natural/candid shots. We could not be happier with the quality and variety of the gallery he put together for us and I would recommend Mark without hesitation to anybody looking for a photographer for any special event. Professional and reliable, true artist
I was very happy when Mark agreed to be our wedding photographer, his work captured my eye and we had the most amazing experience. I really appreciated how he communicated throughout the process, it helped us structure the approach to photography. Mark asked for a list of pictures that we want to take on the day, this helped us to make sure that everyone in the family gets a memorable shot. At the same time Mark captured brilliantly the atmosphere of our special day with many informal pictures. Everyone, including children, felt very much at ease with Mark, his engaging and friendly character makes people relax in front of the camera. The pictures arrived in a gorgeous case (I would recommend paying extra for the prints and the box). I highly recommend Mark.

Wonderful - highly recommended
Mark was wonderful to work with from start to finish. We got married on a Greek island and Mark managed to capture the essence of the venue having only seen it a few days before! Everyone commented on how charismatic he was whilst still being a true professional. We were thrilled with the end results. Thank you Mark!

Amazing photographer - would definitely recommend!
As 2 people who really don't like having their pictures taken (my husband didn't even want pictures to start with!), it was important to both of us that we chose someone who could put us at ease and get some lovely pictures with us feeling too self-conscious.
The whole process with Mark, from the initial call, to meeting in person for a more thorough discussion, to finalising details and then the process on the day was really easy. He is very friendly, interacted brilliantly with family and friends and kept us both relaxed enough to get some truly lovely photographs.
He has also been super patient with me post-wedding, when it's taken me a very very long time to get back to him with the details for the album.
Mark is a friendly, patient and encouraging photographer with a wonderful eye for a beautiful shot. I particularly love the pictures he got of us in Terrace Gardens amongst the lavender, he captured us as a couple brilliantly.
I would highly recommend him to anyone 😊

Absolutely incredible, we hit the jackpot with Mark!
Mark was absolutely amazing from start to finish, and we will be forever grateful. He was a joy to work with throughout the process, really took the time to understand what was important to us, and the entire wedding was captured so beautifully and sweetly.
We got in touch with Mark after reading all the reviews on Hitched, and we were delighted to find he was available on our date (July 2022). It was the first time he'd been to our venue, but he navigated it perfectly - everything from the getting ready shots, the ceremony, group photos, and shots of us as a couple all turned out A++++++.

Couldn't recommend enough!!
As opening statements go I'm pretty sure "We want amazing memorable photos of our day, we also both hate having our photo taken' isn't up there on the list of what a photographer wants to hear!! Especially when followed by 'we also want to enjoy time with our guests and not spend much time on photos!'
Having set these unenviable challenges, I can confirm that Mark (and his assistant Caven) not only rose to the occasion but smashed it out of the park! Mark has the unique ability of making sure we got all the wedding checklist photos without ever making it feel forced or that we were missing out on anything. And as amazing as the group photos were, our favourite shots are the natural ones, it's the classic cliche but the day does indeed go by in a blur, and these photos really helped take us back to some of those most memorable moments.
Hopefully it goes without saying both my wife and I couldn't recommend Mark enough!

Friendly photographers and brilliant photos
We hired Mark for our wedding in June, and he provided a great service. Having been to many weddings where the photographers made themselves the main character, Mark and his second photographer Cav were friendly but unobtrusive, and captured brilliant, natural moments of us and our guests. He was receptive on video calls before the event to our needs, while also maintaining his own style and expert advice on the day. Highly recommended.

Above and beyond
Choosing Mark as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The booking process was easy from start to finish and we knew from our first meeting with him that he was who we wanted to go with. We had a few zoom calls with Mark to finalise exactly what sort of photos we wanted from our day and how we could best accommodate that timing-wise. Mark gave really helpful suggestions so we could make the most of the day and we have ended up with the MOST beautiful photos that we will cherish. He was also very open to suggestions for photo set-ups we had seen online, including using smoke bombs. One of my bridesmaids commented on the day that the fact that Mark made the effort to learn all the bridal party's names made her feel so comfortable and helped the day run smoothly. BOOK HIM!

After lots of research for a photographer for our big day I booked Mark and I have to say he didn’t disappoint. He is very professional and friendly. He captured our day perfectly. Mark did our wedding photographs & we were extremely happy we chose him. Originally our wedding was during the pandemic & was postponed a couple of times. Mark was very understanding and flexible during the process. His photographs were fantastic! He is such a warm & likeable chap & he felt like a friend rather than a photographer but at the same time is the ultimate professional. Highly recommended

Memories you will treasure
For one of the biggest days of your life, it’s a given you want the right photographer to capture the myriad of special moments you will treasure now and in the years to come. Mark Chivers is that photographer! Check out his website and you will soon know if his style is what you’re after. It certainly was for us. Mark likes to blend in with the crowd, you hardly know he’s there, and the result tells its own story, weaving together all those special moments you will have missed out on, because you can’t be everywhere with everyone.
So many of our guests said afterwards how impressed they were with Mark’s manner, friendly and relaxed yet commanding enough when needed to shepherd a very big crowd to where they needed to be. No forced smiles on his watch!
You get an amazing selection of photos as part of the finished product, both online and in a beautiful presentation box (a very fancy memory stick). We’re just looking into getting a book made and couldn’t be happier with the end result.
