We organised our wedding from New Zealand. Therefore most of our wedding research was done online.

When our original photographer let us down just weeks before our wedding, Michelle from Mahoney Weddings stepped in and saved the day. Our original photographer going AWOL was clearly a huge blessing in disguise, as I now couldn't imagine Michelle not being our photographer! From the moment we first contacted her, Michelle was professional, empathetic, and incredibly accommodating.

On the wedding day, Michelle was a true professional, with a calming and caring energy. She wasn’t intrusive at all, often blending into the background while still managing to capture every important moment. It was like having an extra guest who just happened to take stunning photos and videos!

Michelle has an excellent presence and co-ordinated even our most rambunctious guests for the group photos with confidence. We have the most beautiful photos of our guests feeling at ease and showing their lovely natural smiles or laughing, as Michelle has a few tricks up her sleeve to get the best out of your guests!

The final products were delivered on time and exceeded all our expectations. Each photo and video was unbelievably beautiful, capturing the essence and emotions of the day perfectly. We were both moved to tears during our first look as Michelle's work truly tells the story of our day from start to finish, and she goes the extra mile to get that perfect shot.

Special shout out also to second shooter Mich, who was amazing and captured a wonderful second perspective of our day. Thank you also for your care and attention in helping with fiddly dress buttons and making sure our trains always looked pretty for the photos!

We started off with our engagement pictures done by Michelle after we won a session on Instagram and oh my God this was fate they were amazing and engagement pictures featured in our wedding and there is hand on heart no one else we would of chose to do our wedding pictures. She makes you feel so relaxed, played a massive part in our wedding in general because she is just Michelle and such a beautiful lovely person! We were honored to have her there with us and give us the memories of our amazing day! Our wedding was very intimate and to us Michelle was another family member. Michelle was fantastic! We had a pre-wedding shoot where she got to know us and give advice on what to expect on the big day. She arrived to the wedding and got to work immediately, making sure she was floating between the bridal party and the groomsmen to capture every moment, we have some very special shots that tell the story of our day from both perspectives. She managed to get candid shots which caputured the essence of our whole day. We stop looking at them all. We have had so many positive compliments from our guests about Michelle and how friendly and professional she was. l already expectations were massively exceeded! We are in LOVE with out pictures.

Michelle was a videographer for our wedding day! She was absolutely amazing.. we are so happy we booked her! The videos are incredible, she captured every part of our day and we cannot stop watching them! They really do bring the whole day back to us due to her hard work, time and effort! We couldnt of asked for anything more with Michelle, she was amazing from start to finish, she blended in perfectly and didnt shove the camera in your face, they was nautural pictures which is what we wanted as we are not for posing haha. She caputured all the beautiful moments and ones that you dont see of your special day from my husband getting ready to then myself getting ready, arriving at the church and then reception our speaches and dance.
