Mar Mendez Photography is a North London-based wedding photographer who serves couples across the UK.

With more than 15 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I bring a dynamic and fresh perspective to capturing moments that will last a lifetime. I have been travelling around many countries for years, shooting weddings and events and capturing moments with a vibrant storytelling style that shows romance, colours, light, energy, and spontaneity. I believe my strongest point is the relationships I build with my clients, creating an engaging experience that reflects love, friendship, and emotions. My style is mainly documentary and fashion, and my photos are a celebration of the beauty of human connections and life. They also reflect my wild, happy, and dynamic personality. I strongly believe that photography is a bridge between people, and my greatest desire is to be able to create valuable memories that the whole family can share in future years to come. I like to think that my work combines a background of strong energy, storytelling, creativity and documentary.

When it comes to working, I am very relaxed, and I don't lose sight of any detail or moment of the wedding day. I usually work alone, but if required by the couple, the budget can be increased to add a second photographer. I focus mostly on spontaneous and emotional moments, but I also think that family or friends photos are really important to have. I have worked for many years as a fashion photographer as well, which is why I especially focus on the bride and groom photoshoot. Some of the countries where I have lived and worked are Argentina, Italy, Spain, France, and England. Many of the images you see on my social networks have been taken during these last years.

I believe photography should be more than just another item on your wedding to-do list. When the big day is over, the photos will be the lasting memories you hold onto, growing in significance as they are shared with future generations.
