Based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, Margesson Photography is passionate about documenting weddings and other special events. As a lover of culture and photography, owner Matt studied Classic Film Photography at Hitchin's Centre for Arts before becoming a full-time professional. He photographed his first wedding in 2016 and has been working his magic ever since. You and your partner are sure to be impressed by his outgoing personality and unrivalled camera skills.

Though headquartered in Hertfordshire, Margesson Photography serves couples all over the UK and beyond. All of their wedding packages boast a pre-wedding consultation, up to 200 high-quality images, an online gallery, and a personalised USB. The premium Eternity bundle has all that and more, offering all-day coverage, an engagement session, and a handmade album.

What does the wedding package include?

How far in advance should I contact you?

To avoid busy spells, I would advise getting in touch with me 12 - 18 months in advance but I may have last minute availability. Message me anytime and I will do my very best to accommodate

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No

Can you travel?

Yes, anywhere in the world!

What is the charge for travelling?

0.45p per mile after 50 miles from my address. Each wedding will be quoted for before any agreement is made

What kind of technology do you use?

Digital

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?

I take pride in my style and have had great feedback, I would say I live for the moments you may miss, I use a short prime lens and telephoto and do not sit a mile away with zooms!

What kind of equipment do you use?

2 x Canon DSLR - 2 x Prime lenses (2 backup Cameras, along with countless other lenses that gather dust in my bag!)... I do not have an addiction!

Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?

Yes, online Gallery located on my website. (Password Protected)

What's the delivery time for a photographic report?

2 months

Do you send all the photos taken?

No

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

In case of unforeseen circumstances, do you have a replacement photographer?

I like to immerse myself into your wedding almost becoming a guest, I feel this is one of my highest priority to capture the most natural imagery!

Wedding photos

Winter wedding

Matt is great to work with on what can be such an intense day. He’s calm and collected, guides you to picturesque parts of your chosen location and will give as much or as little advice as you prefer. He doesn’t over-edit, but highlights the natural colours and beauty of the photos. Have already recommended him to others and would 100% book again!
