Welcome to Matt Godman Wedding Photography.
I am an award winning photographer shooting weddings for over 10 years. I'm based in Hertfordshire but work all over the UK. I live in Hertfordshire with my wife and two children, having previously lived in London but I have family ties to Yorkshire, and I am happy working anywhere in the country.
My philosophy is simple - I want you to focus on your wedding day, not posing for photographs. I aim to simply photograph natural moments, beautifully.
If you want to enjoy your wedding day and have moments captured you didn't even realise were happening instead of a series of stage managed moments, I'll be a great fit for you.
Despite my Hertfordshire base, I travel all over the UK photographing weddings. I photograph weddings in Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Cheshire and Lincolnshire - as well as working closer to home in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Suffolk, Surrey, Hampshire and of course Hertfordshire. So wherever you're getting married, I'd love to hear from you.

I am a passionate advocate of photography - I have a background in Fine Art and have worked in photography all my life. I have always loved taking photographs. I care deeply about the quality of my work and the images I supply to you. I hope you can see this in my portfolio.
