Matthew captured all of our wedding day on 13.7.24 and, my goodness, I cannot praise him enough.

When we got engaged, my husband and I wrote a list of "must-haves." On the top of my list was "a really good photographer." I got that in abundance.

A year and a few months before our wedding day, we had an engagement shoot with Matthew. This was to get some photos for our save the dates, but also to get a feel of what to expect during our wedding day, to learn how he operates and to understand his process.

He put us both at ease immediately. Not only were the photos stunning when we got them back, but he was so lovely too! We chatted about Married at First Sight, our wedding plans and lots of other little things that made me feel at ease. It's always better when you gel with someone who will be with you the entire day of your wedding!

Fast forward to the wedding day. I have to also give huge kudos to Matt's team, which included Dawn (our second photographer) and Owen (our videographer). They arrived at 9AM to make sure our getting ready shots were captured. They didn't interrupt anything or make me get out of my makeup chair for a single thing. Nothing was too much of a problem. Plus, when the nerves hit about 10 minutes before we left to the venue, Matt calmed me down and reassured me that I looked "banging."

They captured every single moment that I will cherish forever and I can genuinely say that I've never seen a team of people work so hard. It's so obvious that the three of them simply adore what they do. They literally made me, as the bride, feel like a super model/ Disney Princess!

Group shots were always something I worried about because we have such a big family, but Matt and the team got everything done so quickly without compromising the quality of the photos. I think he was very aware that these group shots will be put up in a lot of people's houses, and he was so good at instructing us. He also praised my brothers and our ushers who stood there with a megaphone and got everyone together, which made them feel great, too.

Matt and the team also captured our speeches and I'm SO excited to see the photos and watch the video back for them as it was one of my favourite moments. I think Matt knew how much that meant to me because he sent me a picture of my dad sobbing as part of our samples (I think it's one of my favourite ones.)

Couple portraits were amazing. I know I'm repeating a lot of the same words but it's honestly true. The team didn't stop until they got the PERFECT shot. I've seen a few from the samples Matt sent me (I fawned over them) but I know there are so many more to come that I will fall in love with.

The team then captured our cake cutting and first dance. I was dreadfully nervous about the dance - particularly because it was being filmed and photographed - but even though we had a little slip mid-way through, Matt sent me an absolutely stunning photo of the end of it, which made the nerves more than worth it!

They also brought a drone with them which I was thrilled about, because who doesn't love a drone?! The drone shots/footage is what my husband is most looking forward to seeing!

The team stayed with us from 9 until 9, and they are genuinely worth their weight in gold. All three of them are fabulous people who, you can just tell, love what they do. You feel like royalty when you work with Matt and his team.

The samples from the wedding were sent less than 24 hours after the team had gone home and I genuinely adore every single one of them. Plus, Matt sent so many samples because he got carried away and I'm so grateful he did!

We would choose Matt and his team to capture every special moment and occasion every single time. From his laid back and warm nature to his personal approach and dedication to his clients, to his great communication and, of course, his talent (along with the rest of his team,) I genuinely think we found the best photographers around.

I can't WAIT to get our photos and videos back because I just know they will be fantastic. Thank you so much!

Where do I begin?
From the initial consultation to our big day I’ve never put my trust in a photographer so much. Our photos (all 1300 of them) are STUNNING! Matthews work is worth every penny and more, not only did he make us feel comfortable he was like a friend we’d known for years. He was our biggest hype man and had us laughing all day.
There is no one I’d rather have been caught in the storm with than this guy ❤️ (and my husband of course!)

We were impressed with the beautiful photos on Matt's web site, he appeared to be very capable and very professional. Sadly our experience was the very opposite, and such were the appalling quality of our wedding photos, my wife - the bride - has only a couple of herself that she's pleased with.
I could launch into a diatribe about how upset we are with the finished photos, but I'll say just one more thing: Matt arrived 25 minutes after our wedding ceremony had started.
Our thanks to a close friend who took some lovely photos of us as our big day got under way.

Highly recommended photographer if you want to be comfortable and have perfect shots on your special day. Matthew covered my wedding from the hotel room to the ceremony and outdoor (in a beautiful park in London). He was punctual, we had a videocall weeks before the wedding to discuss our detailed itinerary and everything went well during the day. He's very easy going, we didn't have any issues with photos. They were all beautifully taken & was available fast! All just went very smoothly. If we stay in London, we'll definitely seek out to him again for our future photography needs. ⭐

From our day being cancelled to giving Matt 6 days notice of our wedding day. He was a true professional. The day was rushed due to a parent being very unwell. Matt captured exactly what we wanted and spoke to our family with such kindness. He then rushed through some images so it gave us something to enjoy". Please book him you won't be disappointed.

Matt has got to be the best photographer I have ever met! We booked Matt and a 2nd photographer for our May wedding and he couldn’t have been more helpful and supportive! We had a video call a few weeks before the wedding to sort out a plan of the day and to help us understand what to expect! He put our minds at ease straight away!
On our wedding day he slotted right in and became part of the bridal party! It was like we had known him for years. All of our guests commented on how nice and welcoming Matt had been! I have a lot of family and we wanted to get those annoying group shots, Matt was amazing and it felt like we were only there for 5 minutes!
We have just had our gallery back and I love every single photo! If I had enough space on my walls I would print them all out!
