We recently got married on 20th April 2024 and are so glad we chose Matt to be our wedding photographer. From the very beginning, when we were looking for a photographer, he stood out to us with they way he described himself and spoke about his own family on his website.

We are a young family, and although we wanted to capture our wedding day, including our daughter as much as we could was at the forefront for us. Matt was fun and friendly, and everything felt so relaxed. He was very easy to communicate with before and on the day.

Our photos came out stunning, and he really captured the atmosphere we wanted. All our firends and family have commented on how amazing the photos are, and we are extremely proud to show them off.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Matt for our micro wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Despite the intimate setting with only six guests and our two dogs, he managed to capture every precious moment discreetly and beautifully.

His professionalism and unobtrusive presence were truly impressive. He took some lovely photos of our dogs as well, and they were at ease with him being around, not that easily achievable with a guarding breed, which was a testament to his gentle and calming presence.

During our bridal shoot, he made us feel so relaxed, which made the experience even more enjoyable and the photos absolutely stunning.

We also had a memorable swan incident during the ceremony, and Matt jumped into action, shooing the swan away with a special dance routine using umbrellas. He saved the day and added a fun, unforgettable moment to our wedding.

Matthew was so down to earth and had a very relaxed vibe, his approach was just what we were after! Natural, candid shots that truly reflected our day perfectly!

Matt was fantastic on the day. We had not had the chance to meet prior to the wedding day because of covid but this was not an issue at all Matt was so friendly and felt like a guest. He really listened to what we wanted from our photos. I hate having my photo taken and was really nervous about spending ages posing. But all we did was go for a little walk together and I was so happy with the result. So many of my married guests commented on Matt and how wonderful they thought he was and his style. The only regret I have is not booking Matt for the full day.

Matthew was absolutely amazing, we couldn’t have wished for a better photographer to capture our day. He was amazing with the guests and just fit in straight away! He was never in one place he was socialising with all the guests and taking photos at the same time to capture everyone in the moment and enjoying the day. This way we got the real images and feel of the day rather than lots of staged photos. Matthew really tailors to your needs and ensures you have the images you have envisioned. I researched lots of photographers and there was plenty to choose from with being in the Lake District however I’m I glad I went with my instinct and chose Matthew to come from Scotland! If your looking for an amazing photographer who goes with the flow of the day, adds no pressure and who’s main aim is to get the best photos of the day, I wouldn’t look any further!

Matt is the ABSOLUTE best!! We hired him for our wedding and it was such a great process from the beginning. We’d arranged a FaceTime call with him, and loved hearing that his approach to the day would be more casual and he’d try to capture the best moments. We got married at the start of October and the natural Scottish weather arrived that day. Despite the rain Matt managed to still capture stunning photos!!
