I’m Michael from Michael Chilton Photography, a wedding photographer based in Bury, Greater Manchester.

I specialise in a relaxed and natural photography style, ensuring you get to enjoy your big day without being dragged away from your guests for too long.

Services Offered

Packages can be complicated and very expensive the more you add. With my services, there is only one package and one price. This can include as much or as little as you require on your wedding day. A pre wedding meeting is arranged to discuss your day in full so that every special detail is captured. I capture the full day from bridal prep up until the evening reception (10 pm).

Drone photography is a service that you can have at no additional cost.

All images are professionally edited and delivered via a secure online album on my website with unlimited downloads.

How far in advance should I contact you?

The sooner the better. I’m currently taking bookings a couple of years in advance. Once you’ve set the date and booked your venue, get in touch

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No

Can you travel?

Yes, i cover the whole of the U.K. and Worldwide

What is the charge for travelling?

There are no fees for U.K. weddings. For destination weddings please get in touch to discuss a travel quote

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?

My photography style is very natural and relaxed. You won’t be posing for hours and will get more time to spend with your family and friends

I use 2x full frame Sony cameras and a DJI drone

Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?

Yes, i use a company called PicTime to store your photographs on my website

What's the delivery time for a photographic report?

2 months

Do you have the rights to publish the wedding photos?

How do you charge extra time?

There is no additional charge. I usually leave your wedding at 10pm, if you require me to stay longer please specify when booking

Beautiful photos, natural shots and a genuine down to earth guy who also acts as an errand runner too!
My husband is very shy in front of the camera and he got the most gorgeous shots of him on the day!

Outstanding

Michael was the best photographer we could have ever wished for. He lit up every room he was in, brought such a great atmosphere and was even the extra bridesmaid I didn’t know I needed to help with all the practical things you don’t think about! We had so many people telling us how much he put them at ease and how much fun he was to be around. And on top of all that, the pictures were turned around super quickly and are more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. I 100% recommend him!

Beautiful, natural photos

Hire him now! You will not find a more professional yet personable guy. MC made us both feel truly comfortable and gave us great direction (we are both camera shy and not natural posers). MC is brilliant with communication (before and after the wedding) and the photos we received back where amazing, and exactly what we wanted! MC went above and beyond on the wedding day, he made everyone feel so at ease and even helped direct our videographers to make sure everything would be perfect for us. We can’t thank you enough.
