Hello, and welcome to my portfolio. My name's Chris, but you can call me MonkeyChops. I am a portrait, wedding, and music photographer and videographer based in Hastings / St Leonards, East Sussex. I like music and coffee, and when I'm not shooting, I spend as much time with my two little kiddos as possible (they're the real moneychopsies!!!).
My approach to shooting weddings is to get involved in your day, to be the guest you never invited but didn't know how much you needed! I'll be honest: I just love a good party, and I WILL PARTY!!!

What does the wedding package include?

Full wedding coverage with no definite end time; I pretty much stay until late! Full gallery which has been carefully designed and edited by me! Unique video services also available on request!

How far in advance should I contact you?

As far or as close to your wedding as you like, if I've got the space we can chat!

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Can you travel?

Yes, basically anywhere if I can make it work!

What is the charge for travelling?

Nothing!!!!

Other (Documentary, close and wide. I don't like to shoot from far away, I like to get involved and capture the moments as they're happening!)

What kind of technology do you use?

Digital

Other (Digital mirrorless cameras with a clever backup system so your photos are always safe! Handy cam video cameras for a unique and nostalgic look)

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?

I manually cull and edit your full gallery with a mixture of colour and B&W, making the process easy with the guarantee you'll receive the best photos from your day

What kind of equipment do you use?

Small, noninvasive mirrorless cameras with small lenses that don't distract your guests and won't poke anyone's eyes out! Don't wanna be that guy!!!

Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?

Yes, a link to your personal online gallery where you have access to the full resolution images

What's the delivery time for a photographic report?

1 month

Do you send all the photos taken?

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

In case of unforeseen circumstances, do you have a replacement photographer?

Yes

Do you have the rights to publish the wedding photos?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

Honestly, I don't, you book me for the day, so I'll cover the day. No shooting off after the first dance or skimping out of helping in the morning, I'll be there

What are the forms of payment?

Whatever suits you best! Usually take a small deposit on booking and then the rest is payable the week of the wedding

How do you work?

I like to shoot close and wide and get stuck in with you and your guests on the day to get truly unique and stylish photos that truly capture the vibe of your day!
