Morgan James Photography are a Cardiff-based wedding and certified drone photography company. For more than 15 years, Peter and his team have been producing emotional, timeless, high-quality imagery covering all aspects of your wedding day, from bride and groom preparation to your first dance, fireworks, sparklers or the late night party. Covering all of South and West Wales, Cardiff, Bristol, Swansea, Somerset and surrounding counties, they are fully insured and also offer destination wedding coverage options too.
They offer competitive pricing for mid-week (Monday to Thursday) and also part-day wedding coverage.
Every couple that books a full-day package with them will be provided as standard
- 2 professional photographers*.

- Online viewing, proofing, download and print gallery, live for a minimum of 10 years.
- Handmade wooden USB / Print box with 30, 6x4 inch prints (chosen by yourself).

What does the wedding package include?
Part or Full day coverage according to your package. 2 Photographers on full-day coverage. Hand Crafted Print box with 30 prints. USB with images, Online gallery Wedding albums, and Wall Art
How far in advance should I contact you?
A minimum of 12 months would be recommended but longer if possible as our work tends to be booked up over a year in advance. We do also consider last-minute weddings where we have your date available
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, we cover all of the UK and certain destinations for worldwide weddings. Contact us for details and to see if your area is covered
What is the charge for travelling?
There is a cost for travel. Outside Wales, it's 0.40pence per mile

We start by attending approx 1-2 hrs after bridal prep starts depending on the number of bridesmaids. We work till after the first dance generally but can stay later for sparklers etc if required

Our photo's are outstanding and everything we imagined them to be
Highly recommend Morgan James Photography. Peter & Paul knew exactly what they were doing and exactly what photo's we wanted. Made everyone feel so comfortable and was so organised the photo's. Anyone that wants the most perfect photographs for any occasion I would highly recommend Morgan James Photography. Peter and Paul were outstanding with us at our wedding we didn't even need to ask what photos we wanted they knew already .. the ideas they have to make unique pictures for you were brilliant every single person at our wedding said they were the best photographers they had ever seen. they made everyone feel so comfortable and they were so nice to work with... I can't wait to see the drone shots he got us to do and the ones he took ... we will definitely be booking them again for future occasions if you could give more than a 5-star rating I would, fantastic

We can't recommend Morgan James Photography enough. Peter photographed our wedding and he captured us, our family and friends, and the occasion perfectly.
He is engaging, funny and enthusiastic - a great person to be around - and is the most talented photographer. His eye for detail and making the most of the light and the surroundings is exceptional.

Incredible Photographers - made me and my husband look good
They did an amazing job especially as we were let down by our first photographer and they stepped in to help at the last minute. Great price for what we got and the photos are stunning. Jason and I are Loving looking at the new pictures that come to us every week.

The most beautiful pictures of ourselves we've ever seen
Peter is an absolutely amazing guy and photographer. I was the best man at a wedding and Peter was the photographer. Peter is a great photographer. He goes the extra mile and makes sure you get the most mind-blowing images of your big day. Highly recommended!

Great photographer! Pete has so much enthusiasm and his energy is infectious. He is so friendly and his passion for what he does is clear. His photographs captured the day perfectly and being able to see some of the images in a slideshow at the evening reception was such an unexpected added bonus.

Outstanding photographers. We couldn't have asked for better.
Peter and Paul were incredible, just truly incredible. I'm looking through my pictures and writing this with overwhelming emotion just at how pleased we are with their work. Not only are their images just beautiful but the way they handled the guests and got them all together for us told us where to be and at what time and suggested ideas for great pictures was just brilliant. Truly professional and masters at what they do.

Peter and Paul are exceptional photographers who really know how to capture all the best moments and details of your special day. They are also so funny and know how to make everyone have a great time! You can tell they love what they do, their prices are great, and you will be so happy with the end product. They're bonkers - we love it!
There are lots of important decisions to make when planning your wedding, but one of the most important in my opinion is choosing who to take all of those special photographs on the big day, as those are the snapshots of memories that you will take with you forever. We are so pleased we chose for Morgan James Photography to capture those memories.
Not only did Pete and Jed capture some amazing portraits of me and my husband, our guests and the venue...they also picked out so many little moments we might have otherwise missed; my dad's expression as he hugged me on my wedding morning, the cheeky sideways glance my husband and I shared during the best man's speech, guests chuckling at the anecdotes being shared. Being able to look back at these moments is so incredibly special. Having two photographers with Morgan James Photography means that you really get an amazing level of coverage throughout the day.
The drone was also such a special touch and meant that we got some really unique wedding photos that otherwise wouldn't have been possible!
So many of our guests commented on the day, 'Your photographer has such great energy!', 'They're so much fun!' and 'They're bonkers - we love it!'. Pete and Jed were so passionate, funny and charasmatic...they are absolutely wonderful!

We felt like King and Queen of the castle on our special day and Peter captured that perfectly.
Peter and the team were amazing from the moment they arrived. Made us all laugh and put us at ease. I was amazed by the number of photos taken during the day, but it meant that every angle of the wedding was captured. From beautifully posed photos, natural photos and of course photos with the drone. Peter knew the BEST places to have photos done at Hensol Castle and went above and beyond to capture the right photos for us that we can cherish for a lifetime.
We had photos back straight away, which was amazing for us to relive the day. We even had photos back ON THE DAY with a video showing our evening guest's photos from the day. Everyone said how much of an amazing touch it was. Our guests were even given a QR code so they could follow the photos being uploaded. It meant that everybody could relive the day as well.

Peter, you absolutely exceeded our expectations and we can’t thank you enough :-)
I couldn’t recommend Peter more, from meeting him at a wedding fayre in 2018 to our engagement shoot and then a twice postponed wedding, he has been fab from start to finish.
He made the bridal party feel at ease, and my flower girl absolutely loved him. Nothing was too much to ask, and the photos we have seen so far are absolutely gorgeous.
We had a fairly big wedding and Peter managed to round everyone up for photos with ease and had everyone cracking up.
