Where do we even begin on Dan‘s photos? We honestly could not be happier. Each photo was more stunning and captivating than the last, we can’t even put into words how grateful we are for having Dan capture our day.
Dan's ability to capture candid moments is truly remarkable. His photos go beyond just capturing people in the frame; they capture the energy, the essence, and the joy of the day. Looking at his photos allows us to relive and re-experience not only our precious moments, but he managed to seek out the magic and gorgeous moments that we were not even aware of. Dan has a talent for then bottling that energy and immortalizing it through his lens.
What sets Dan apart is not just his talent, but also his personality. He has a warm and friendly demeanor that made everyone around him feel comfortable and at ease. As he snapped away, he encouraged us to be ourselves and carry on naturally. Most of the time, we were unaware that he was capturing these moments until we saw the photos later. This is a testament to his ability to blend into the background and capture genuine, unposed moments.
Communication with Dan was a breeze throughout the entire process. His pre and post-production communication felt more like talking to a friend rather than a supplier, whilst also being highly professional throughout the whole process. He took the time to understand our preferences and vision, ensuring that we were on the same page. On the day of the event, he put in a long and dedicated shift, working tirelessly to capture every important moment. The turnaround time for the images was incredibly fast, and we were presented with a wealth of breathtaking photos to choose from.
However, this led to a delightful dilemma. Each photo was so stunning and enchanting, making it difficult to narrow down our selection. We were spoiled for choice with the sheer amount of amazing photos he provided us with.
In conclusion, we couldn't be happier with Dan's photos. His talent, warmth, and genuine passion for his craft shine through in every image he captures. Working with Dan was an absolute pleasure, and we wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who wants their special moments beautifully captured for a lifetime. Our biggest piece of advice is to let Dan have free rein to do what he does best, you will not be disappointed. The photos he took whilst roaming our wedding are some of the most beautiful photographs of our favourite people that we have ever seen.

Vegas wedding party
Dan photographed both our engagement shoot and then our wedding party when we got back from vegas.
We had a vegas theme wedding party and Dan photographed the whole evening.
Dan captured our night PERFECTLY, he captured all the details we wanted all the group shots and most importantly his candid shots.
Dans candid shots are the reason I would continue to book him over and over, he really just captures the joy in every moment.
The way he uses light and movement to bring his photos to life is amazing.
He is such a genuinely nice guy, down to earth and blends in with guests so well.
The turn around from event to receiving you album back is unbelievable! We received our photos back in less than a week! For comparison we waited 5 weeks for our photographer we used in vegas!
I can’t stop looking through the photos because I am obsessed!
If you book Dan for your event, trust me he is worth every single penny!

Beyond amazing
What can I say, words just do not express the gratitude and appreciation we have for Dan. We would ONE MILLION PERCENT recommend Daniel McClane Photography to anyone who is looking for a photographer!
He is the most amazing photographer but most importantly he is a super genuine and lovable guy. From the day we booked him for our wedding, to when we received our pictures, Dan was brilliant. He was friendly, attentive to our wishes and made it feel like our special day was special to him.
On the actual day we couldn't have asked for anything more, he was there first thing and he even stayed after our first dance to catch some great party shots. Dan integrated into our day rather than anything being forced, which we did not want, we wanted mostly natural shots capturing the day and only a few posed photos. By the evening I genuinely felt like he was one of the wedding guests and wanted him to stay for the rest of the celebrations. In between set ups when me and my now husband were waiting for guests to be seated etc, Dan would chat with us about everything and anything, and then straight back to business when the time came, he didn't feel out of place, he wasn't in the way and for 2 people who don't like their photos being taken it wasn't awkward at all. And we've had nothing but great feedback from guests who sing Dans praises.
Most importantly, the pictures are phenomenal, they are everything and more that we could have ever wished for. We set up a slide show on the TV with our children and my mom and my 5 year old son actually started to cry. Dan managed to capture the magical feeling of the day with natural shots, that looking back through them brings back the emotions of our wedding day.
Dan, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for not just the amazing photographs but for being such a big part of our day, because when we think back and reminisce, you are a big part of it ❤️
P.s. he is also great at helping put bracelets on when all the bridesmaids nails are too long! -

Absolutely blown away by Dan’s work!
Dan is an absolutely brilliant photographer, his documentary style captures the day in a way that allows you to re-live the vibe of the day - so natural and beautiful!
We absolutely loved working with Dan, he was a dream and even more brilliant on the day. He captured all of the key moments as well as those lovely interactions between family and friends. Dan did a wonderful job and we are so grateful for his skill and support :) -

The moment I saw Dan’s work I knew he would be the photographer we booked for our wedding. Dan was easy to get hold of and communicate with through the booking process.
On the day of our wedding Dan was amazing, the perfect mix of us not even realising he was there and feeling like we were spending the day hanging out with a friend we had known for years.
The images Dan went on to send us are so beautiful, going through them was truly like reliving our wedding day. Not only were there hundreds of them, but he turned them around in less than a week!

I would highly recommend Daniel. He was extremely transparent throughout the whole process and on the day, accommodated every request, and we came out with pictures we will treasure for a lifetime. The images themselves were a lovely mix of ‘candid’ photos we didn’t even know were taken as well as iconic images of the big moments, also we received the photos less than a week after which was a really pleasant surprise. We can thank you enough Daniel and we are so happy with how you captured the day, and we would recommend you highly to anyone thinking of booking. -

Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
We were absolute thrilled with the photos we received from Dan of our recent wedding. This approach is exactly what we wanted, relaxed, friendly and discreet. Dan blended into our wedding and felt like a part of our friends, and someone we had know for years.
We are really pleased with the results and can not recommend him enough.
I was a little worried about feeling on edge, but Dan quickly put us at ease and made us feel easy to relax and non look Gorky on the photos.

Dan’s work ethic is second to none, his whole process was easy, from booking to organising and even meeting up to discuss our requirements.
He has a very rare talent of capturing the whole experience without you really knowing he’d captured it. He spent so much time with all of our guests and captured every inch of our day.
