About Me

I'm a massive film buff. In fact you may have inadvertently already seen me in several big Hollywood films as I work as a film extra on the side. Back of my head in The Batman? Yep. Military Guy in a Scottish Kilt in a crowd of hundreds looking at Wonder Woman? Yep, also me! Anyway the point is my nerdiness for films at a young age got me interested in filmmaking and camera gear - which eventually blossomed into a career. It's in my blood. I love it.

I've been shooting weddings for over 11 years now starting as a small wedding videography business in 2012 and soon branching out into offering photography too. Offering both has been extremely popular as it has enabled our clients to book everything with one business and take advantage of the cost savings of doing so.

My line of work has seen me capture hundreds of weddings over the years - from intimate registry weddings with six people to big massive Asian events with hundreds. We've filmed and photographed all kinds of religious and non-religious weddings from a variety of cultures & ethnicities. We've even done some wedding vow renewals, anniversaries and wedding celebrations (a wedding where the legal bits are already done but they spend another day celebrating).

What A Wedding Day Is Like With Us

In a nutshell, you just go about your day and let us take care of things.

Depending whether you book photography, video or both, it could be me, one of my team or two of us there to record your big day. We try to blend in with your guests as best we can, wanting to capture all those unexpected moments from the day. Of course when it comes to photos, we absolutely encourage you to have a few posey ones but these get no more complicated than having a bit of a stroll and a laugh. If you like movies too, I'll quite happily chat your head off until you ask me to stop.

In terms of when we start and finish, well that's up to you! We can start coverage from the guest arrivals and stay until your first dance, or we could start for your morning preparations and stay for the party. It's entirely up to you.

Quality Equipment & Data Security

For both our photography and video, we use critically acclaimed cameras that work great in low light (essential for a wedding). Our films are recorded in Ultra HD no matter what package you choose so the quality is extra special.

We always carry backup gear too just in case. All our cameras dual record - what this means is they are simultaneously creating a backup as we go - so in the unlikely event of a memory card failure, we already have a backup! Once back in the office, we make two more backups - one locally and one in the cloud so even if our offices burnt to the ground, your wedding footage and photos will be secure.

Superb Editing

We will take our time to ensure the final quality of your photos and video are nothing less than perfect. We edit using only the best software from Adobe (Lightroom & Photoshop) and Blackmagic Design (Resolve) - all software considered the best in their respective fields. We do not outsource editing - we do everything in house so we can maintain quality at all times. Every single photo and frame of footage passes through me and my team.

Travel

We will go (almost) anywhere in the world for your big day. Many places in England and Wales have no travel charges at all. If you live in a coastal area or more than 2 hours from our base in the West Midlands, we may charge reasonable costs to cover our fuel, time and (where applicable) hotels. Despite being a strong swimmer, we also charge flights & transfers for those off the mainland :)

Fully Insured

Don't make the mistake of booking an uninsured supplier - we are fully covered for Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Employers Liability (certificates available on request - many venues will want to see them). Accidents and mistakes can happen so make sure your suppliers are covered.
