REAL TALK... If you're looking for a traditional wedding photographer we’re NOT for you.
Our style is largely documentary, with a modern, editorial edge. We're nostalgic storytellers who find the beauty even in the smallest in-between moments. For couples who aren't afraid to kick tradition to the kerb and celebrate their love in all its authentic glory.
We accept just 25 wedding commissions per year as we like to keep our numbers small so we can really get to know you. Connection is hugely important to us, and the work we produce, as this allows us to create galleries that truly reflect you both, and your day. We're not about recreating the latest trends or social media fads, or a cookie cutter experience.
When you work with us you can expect to receive a gallery that not only documents you as a couple, but also your loved ones, the emotions, the finer details and the messy moments. Our photography is for couples who want to remember how their wedding day FEELS.
We've shot over 200 weddings, and have more than a decade of experience, so you can be sure that working with us is effortless. We won't take you away from the action and your guests for hours on end, we're not into awkward posing or asking you to smile and say cheese. The art we create is always with you, as a couple, at the core - we want your photos to be recognisabely YOURS.
Our signature edit style has been carefully crafted to evoke the tones of old 35mm film - subtle enough to remain timeless, but with a sense of modern nostalgia for a luxury, editorial feel.
We are based in Shropshire but cover all over the UK and beyond - travel fees in mainland England, Scotland & Wales are included in our package rates. No hidden extras.
And, just so you know who 'we' are... Paul (aka Mr Twig) is the face behind the lens, whereas Suzi (aka Mrs Twig) oversees the client journey and is editor-in-chief.
Fun fact: Our surname isn't actually Twig, it's Wilkinson. Our clients crowned us 'The Twigs' and it just stuck. It's a bit like having a superhero alter ego though so we're all good with it!

What does the wedding package include?
Full day cover includes;
10-12hrs continuous coverage; private online gallery; hand-edited images; 35mm analogue film coverage; travel fees within England, Scotland & Wales
How far in advance should I contact you?
We only accept a maximum of 25 wedding photography commissions per year so early booking is advised
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Travel & accommodation fees within mainland England, Scotland & Wales are included for full day bookings.

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
We have a storytelling approach to your wedding photography. We shoot both digital and analogue - 35mm film coverage of your day is included with full day coverage
What kind of equipment do you use?
We use Canon for digital work (we will always shoot on at least two cameras, with dual card slots, in case of mechanical failure). Our 35mm work is shot using a variety of vintage analogue cameras
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, all packages include your own private online gallery, hosted for 1 year, with unlimited downloads
Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Our preferred payment method is via bank transfer. A booking fee of £400 is required to secure your date

Our style is a mix of documentary/storytelling & editorial, meaning we'll largely capture your day candidly, but give gentle direction where needed for couples portraits and family/group formals

Incredible Photographers!
The Twigs were one of those suppliers where as soon as we saw their portfolio we knew we had to book them, and they did not disappoint. Apart from being some of the loveliest people we've had the pleasure of working with throughout the wedding process, they are also really incredible photographers! From our pre-wedding love shoot to the big day itself, every photo we've seen so far has been amazing and we can't wait to see our full gallery. If you're thinking of booking with them, don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed!

We Highly Recommend The Twigs!
We booked The Twigs after meeting Paul at my sister in law's wedding where he was working 6 years ago. We loved his style of photography and how he looks for all the details and special moments. From the point of booking Paul and Suzi have gone above and beyond. Communication is excellent and they are both happy to support you during the wedding planning process; even providing a wedding planning guide with useful information and discount codes for other suppliers.
Our pre wedding photo shoot was organised efficiently and we enjoyed exploring Blist Hill Victorian Town with Paul and getting used to having our photographs taken as we were both quite nervous. Paul put us at ease and we felt very comfortable and enjoyed the experience.
On our wedding day Paul continued to go above and beyond looking to capture moments to remember the day. One of our guests commented they have never seen a wedding photographer work so hard and pay so much attention to detail. We have received our sneak peeks but can't wait to see the rest of the gallery.
We would highly recommend the Twigs and we can't thank them enough.

Honestly cannot thank the Twigs for the photos we had at both our engagement shoot and on our wedding day!
We both don't like our photos taken but Paul made us feel so at ease during our engagement shoot so when it came to our wedding day, we had an absolute blast!
As soon as we received our engagement photos back, we were on love and it made us so much more excited for our wedding day. Our wedding day previews are also just exceptionally stunning, we cannot thank you enough to being a part of our special day and making it so memorable! ❤️

Amazing Photography of the Story of Your Day
The Twigs provide an exceptional service. They really take the time to get to know you as a couple and record every special moment. They are professional and communicative from the love shoot to every little detail. On our day Paul was invaluable and nothing was too much trouble and he made sure our day ran smoothly. Everyone who has seen our photos has commented on how brilliant they are. We would 100% recommend 😊😊😊☀️

One of a kind photographers
Paul and Suzi were an absolute dream from the first moment I contacted them about photographing our big day. They are extremely professional and fun at the same time.
We had our love shoot a few months before our wedding day where we got to meet Paul in person. He made us feel super comfortable as my now husband and I are not good infront of the camera and are generally quite awkward! But Paul captured us perfectly in the pictures he took.
Prior to the wedding we received a form to complete regarding our wedding venue and what group shots we wanted and timings for the day which was great to have.
The big day comes around and Paul took pictures literally all day, it was noted by myself and multiple guests how hard he worked throughout the day, he must've taken hundreds of pictures. We've now received our previews and are in love with them, if the previews are anything to go by we cannot wait to see the rest of them!

A great fit- wonderful style and energy
Paul and Suzi were just incredible, from first chat to the love shoot to the wedding day and after. We are so thankful for all of the support we received from them both. Paul matched our calm but fun energy through the day and was so knowledgeable about everything wedding related (including how to do a bustle on my dress!). Our wedding pictures are amazing and their style matches ours perfectly. Do not hesitate to book them, they were one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding day.

The best photographer for the best day.
One thing we made sure of was the perfect photographer. During research we came across the Twigs and THANK GOODNESS! I cannot fault them at all, the whole process was easy and comfortable. They go above and beyond for their couples and that’s just the Twigs themselves. The photography and editing is awesome, and even that doesn’t feel enough! We had a certain vibe for our big day and the knocked it out the park! If you’re thinking of booking with them. Just do it! Your wedding day will thank you!

Twigs Branch just GET photography
I’ve known Paul for quite a few years so when I got engaged, there was no question who I wanted as our photographer. Paul’s style is just so natural and his ability to capture those picture-perfect moments means you end up with a set of beautiful photos that help you re-live your day over & over.

Just Brilliant!
Paul and Suz are absolute legends! Really easy to book and liaise with. We booked them almost 2 years in advance because we just loved their work and we are so glad that we did! Our love shoot shortly before our wedding was amazing - Paul made us feel so at ease and the photos are just perfection. We cannot wait to see our wedding gallery but just know the shots will be gorgeous. Paul's direction on the day was great, we felt so at ease. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

Wonderful x
Really wonderful, warm service. From the moment we made contact to the day of our elopement on a mountainside in Snowdonia, Wales, Paul & Suzi were very cool and easy to work with. They listened to what we wanted as well as guiding us on the day (we are shockers at posing naturally without laughing our heads off) and we loved the outcome. They trekked through mud for 25mins to get to our ceremony spot and the whole day was just perfect, and funny and really heartwarming. Highly recommend xx

Absolutely Amazing
We couldn’t be happier with our decision to book 'The Twigs' as our wedding photographers. From the moment we set our date, Paul and Suzi have continually surprised us, filling our hearts with joy every step of the way. The entire experience has been nothing short of incredible.
