Free pre-wedding photoshoots

The free pre-wedding photoshoot is something I offer with all my full day bookings. Normally we would meet up about 2/3 weeks before the big day at a nice little park and go through a few ideas and photos we might do on the day. It is optional. You don't have to do it. But I would encourage you to think about it as it will help you get the most out of your wedding photography for many reasons:

• It's a great chance to get to know me as your wedding photographer.
• You can share with me your own ideas and photos you would like.
• We can address any nerves or anxieties you may have with regards to photos (It's ok. I hate my photo being taken. Thats why I stay this side of the camera lol)
• It will help boost your overall confidence and excitment as the day approaches.
• If you have children, especially toddlers, they are more than welcome to join in. Everyonwe wants their kids in their wedding photos so let them get to know me and what I am doing.
• I've even had people bring their pet dogs for a few photos too.
• After taking photos we will have a quick talk through the day now that all your plans have been finalised.

The pre-wedding shoot normally take about 30/45 minutes including talking through the day afterwards. I often hear couples walk off saying something like "well that was nothing to worry about!" I love hearing this as it means I know they have one less worry on the day.

A selection of the photos are sent over to you 4/5 days before the wedding.

I know most photographers charge extra for a pre-wedding shoot, sometimes up to £300. I do not charge extra as I know weddings are not cheap and I want to encourage people to do the pre-wedding shoot. I know charging extra would put them off.
