We met Neil at a wedding fair and were so pleased when he was available on our wedding day. We loved the way he focuses less on staged photos and more on the natural, candid photos which capture the spirit of the day. Neil is incredibly friendly and approachable and blended in perfectly on the day. In the lead up to our wedding we had a really useful zoom conversation with him during which he made sure he had a good understanding of what was important to us and also offered some invaluable tips. We had complete confidence that Neil would capture some incredible images but when we received our wedding gallery (a very small sample of which is attached) we were over the moon with each and every photo. We would not hesitate to recommend Neil and will treasure the photos forever. Now for the difficult task of choosing which ones to frame!

From the very first email and zoom, Neil was kind, empathetic, authentic, curious, creative, funny and made us feel completely relaxed. Neither me nor my partner are in front of the camera much, and I often feel anxious and awkward, but both our engagement shoot and wedding day were pure joy. I loved Neil's documentary style and colour grading when I came across his website, but what really makes his photos so stunning and the time with him so lovely is his ability to make people feel at ease. He is very generous with his time and by the time our wedding came around he was no longer "only" a supplier but a friend. Neil is brilliant, second to none as a photographer, flawlessly professional and goes out of his way to make is work as sustainable as possible, which was very important to us and very hard to find in the wedding industry. We finally got married on the 2nd of June 2022. After the huge delay from the pandemic we really did have the wedding of our dreams at Thornbridge hall, Derbyshire.

Whilst our memories from the day will be cherished forever, they are no doubt made even stronger and more vivid by the wonderful photos taken by Neil. Neil was able to capture unique moments from all of our guests balancing formality and informality in such a perfect way. Neil style is something incredibly special, truly capturing not just the singular moments, but the atmosphere of the day in every shot, celebrating the happiness and people's personalities through the lens. Colours, angles, lighting all perfectly executed in Neils brilliant style. Doing this effortlessly without hassle for us.

I feel he was able to do this by being unobtrusively personable, friendly and charming with our guests. I can only imagine an incredibly difficult balance to get. For photographers being as good with the camera as with people it's a real rarity. A uniqueness that really sets Neil apart from other photographers.

I would honestly say from a personal perspective Neil was as much of a guest at our wedding due to his nature and the fact he took the effort to get to know us. This made an enormous difference especially over the difficulties of the pandemic. Nothing was too much trouble for Neil and he truly went above and beyond what we would expect a photographer to do.

We first understood Neil's process with our engagement shoot (Something I would highly recommend) set a number of years ago now. At this moment we became comfortable in front of the camera due to Neil's warmth. He was able to make this unusual situation enjoyable and relaxing.

One of the things that we discussed after the wedding was how it is the photographer you spend a huge part of your wedding day with. Therefore it is absolutely paramount that you know the person who is trying to capture the best of you, at your best moment.

Me and my wife are indebted to Neil for giving us perfect, everlasting physical memories of a truly spectacular and significant part of our lives together. We are truly grateful that he was part of our big day and pleased we stuck with him over our three year wait for a wedding.

Not a day has gone by without looking at the photos and mutually agreeing it really was the best day ever and in a big way Neil played a vital part in this.

Neil is an extremely friendly and easy to get on with guy. I was having quite a small wedding at my parents house and everything was going to be very inimate, I didn't want some random stranger akwardly following me around with a camera. He was so relaxed and really understood the atmoshpere of the day, he was always there when you wanted but never got in the way or intruded.
His photos are so beautiful and effortless it perfectly captured our day. He was always looking out for all those small things you miss as a bride but now I am able to look back and see all the little moments that were happening as the day went on. I am so thrilled with our whole experience with Neil and definitely recommend him to others!

Neil was amazing from the very first point of contact, he was very professional and such a lovely guy.

The pre shoot was lots of fun enabling us to get to know Neil and the wedding was just perfect, Neil's style was exactly what we wanted and having the pictures he captured printed in one of the very lovely folio albums is a must because the quality is fantastic.

We really could not be happier with Neil and the photos of our wedding. Everything was spot on across the board!
Professional, friendly, great choice of locations, angles, great direction. We had our wedding in a very urban area and Neil managed to pull off just the right style of shoot for the environment and also managed to make use of the limited greenery and surrounding buildings.

Neil was just incredible! From when we first booked him 3 years ago at a wedding fayre we knew he was our photographer straight away. Such a nice guy really listened to us, passionate, cares a lot & made us feel at ease! The service we got was brilliant felt like he was always happy to help and on hand. On the day he really appreciated you are busy but still manages to get every photo you wanted & keen to get those unique special shots. Although covid effected our wedding it did mean we got Neil’s photos twice, one for our ceremony & one for our party 2 years later and that is what made me so excited, to see his amazing work again! He absolutely captured both occasions perfectly picking up on the love & happiness, photos we will treasure forever. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

We had such a great experience with Neil as our photographer. Right from our initial enquiry, Neil was extremely helpful and adaptable and willing to slot in to our plans. All the communication throughout was great and it was very reassuring to know that he took the initiative in his own time to familiarise himself with the venue. On the day he was brilliant.
