Nika's World is a female photographer who prides herself in capturing the natural, candid moments of a wedding day as well as photographing the defining magical photographs we all love to see. Owner Shinika puts her focus into making sure her newlyweds have a photographic capsule of all of the moments in their big days, big or small, offering a beautiful timeline of the whole wedding day - no element goes amis.
Based in Nottingham, with the freedom to travel across the whole of the UK, Shinika can capture all types of wedding styles. Offering free consultations before your wedding day ensures that Nika's World is the best fit for you and allows you to become comfortable before stepping in front of the camera.

Full Day and Half Day packages are available.
Building your own packages allows you to set a budget that is right for you.

All photographs become available in a password-protected folder at nikasworldphotography.com post-wedding, enabling you to access all of your magical moments at any time online, making it easy to share with friends and family as well.

How far in advance should I contact you?
As soon as you find me! I may be free on your date a year before your date or a month. There is no harm in checking if you love my style

What is the charge for travelling?
Depending on your location, depends on travel costs. I am lucky enough to have friends and family spread across the UK, so I may not need to charge at all

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
I like to make sure my bride and groom feel like royalty. If that is capturing all the little moments or directing people to help make the moments happen I am happy to adapt to the day and the guests

I own three camera bodies with dual memory slots to ensure no loss of photographs with an array of lenses, plus a plethora of other equipment to ensure we capture all the important photographs

We discuss this in our first consultation, but within the contract we agree on an extra hours fee and I will confirm you are happy for me to continue shooting on your wedding day if we go over hours
What are the forms of payment?
Bank transfer is my ideal form of payment but we can discuss which way you feel most secure sending your money to me
How do you work?
I mix between directing you and your guests to get all the photographs you have specifically asked for and are important to you and a background subtle photographer who can capture the candid moments

Incredible photography!
We had the pleasure of booking Nika’s World Photography for our wedding day. Safe to say, she was incredible from day one! Nika was so responsive, guiding us through each step of the process and easing any concerns we had throughout (neither of us are massive fans of having our photos taken!). On the wedding day, Nika arrived early and got so many incredible candid shots - floating around the room and keeping a relaxed energy. Even during the day, through the posed photos - Nika made sure we weren’t getting stressed and kept it as a really fun experience. All of the photos we got back were incredible! We honestly cannot recommend her enough, and we are so happy that these photos will be such a big part of our story together. Thank you!!

Incredible Photographer
My husband and I, had the most amazing experience with our photographer, ‘Nika’s World’ for our wedding. Spending the whole day with us, from being around whilst I got ready, capturing candid moments that I’ll treasure forever, to the end of our day. Nika’s friendly, relaxed energy and professional attitude made us feel at ease, she was fantastic with our children, whom of all different ages. Patient and caring. Her talent is phenomenal and the attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed.
We would highly recommend. If we ever need a photographer again, I would instantly reach out for her availability. Our wedding photographs are incredible, I show them off every chance I get.

Amazing experience
After completing our engagement photos, Nikas World was an easy choice for our wedding photographer.
Shinika made our wedding photography experience the easiest part of our wedding planning! She guided us through the entire process and gave us the perfect tailored package for our 2 day wedding. She done an amazing job getting our finished ceremony photos to us before the reception, a week later, so our family and friends could view them. Her photography emphasised the beauty of our venues and captured all the small details seamlessly. Our biggest gratefulness was her ability to arrange our large family for photos, despite over-excited children never looking the same way, whilst also ensuring the photos represented our light hearted attitudes and included our candid moments.
