Outside and Instant Photography is a wedding photography business based out of Gosport, Hampshire. This company is owned and operated by husband-and-wife team James and Charlotte. Since 2016, they have had the honour of encapsulating weddings and other milestone events. These professionals aim to document your day authentically to create treasured images of all of your wedding moments. Outside and Instant Photography was established after James finished his time in the Armed Forces and retrained as a wedding photographer.

Outside and Instant Photography provides a thorough consultation to get to know you, your wedding vision, and your photography needs. They offer a range of photography packages to suit all event styles and sizes. Their Full Day package encompasses upto 10 hours of coverage over the course of your day. Additional package enhancements include a second photographer, additional hours, a pre-wedding session, and more. This team’s style of photography encompasses both natural and posed imagery. James and Charlotte capture a range of images to tell the whole story of your special day.
Other Services
In addition to professional wedding photography, Outside and Instant Photography offer a photo booth for your celebration. Their handcrafted vintage photo booth with backdrop. Photo booth packages include unlimited prints, a booth attendant, a prop box, and a guest book.

How far in advance should I contact you?
Our couples tend to book 12-24 months in advance of their wedding date, we will take bookings with less notice providing we have the availability
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, primarily based in Hampshire we will travel to the surrounding counties, upto one and a half hours travel in included in the fees
What is the charge for travelling?
We will travel upto one hour thirty minutes from our location to venues included in the package fee. Additional travel fees will be dependent on location

Absolutely perfect!
More than we could’ve ever hoped for when it came to the photography at our wedding. Thank you! James and Charlotte were utterly faultless from start to finish. Not only are they both incredibly friendly, but the quality of the photos taken and the AMOUNT of photos taken has blown us away. Theres not a single moment they didn’t capture. We had a teaser set of photos sent to us the following day!! Then the rest of them all came through less than a month after the wedding. Amazing!! The service, the quality, the friendliness, everything is just faultless. I couldn’t recommend them enough! Thank you so much for everything, we can never thank you enough! Highly recommend to absolutely everyone looking into hiring photography for their wedding.

Master of His Craft
Best photographer ever! James was absolutely the star of the show (next to the bride of course!).
We've never been to a wedding where the guests were complimenting the photographer so much. He was simultaneously everywhere he needed to be, whilst nowhere in sight, making us feel like we were alone when we had our private moments after tying the knot!
Had an engagement shoot with James as well, and it was beautiful! He made us feel so at ease and natural in front of the camera, and had loads of suggestions for good shots. This relayed into the wedding day as well!
Charlotte also played a crucial part in our wedding evening by running the photo booth, and there were some amazing memories to come out of that!
A big thank you to both of you for making this such a special day, and for the rapid turnaround with our photos which we will treasure forever!

Amazing, great photo booth
Great prints and a USB at the end - couldn’t have asked for better deliverables! The props list is good but we were able to add more of our own stuff.

Incredible photographer
We could not recommend James enough! From the moment we booked he was always only an email away, he took time to listen to the style of photos we wanted and on the day played such a huge part of our wedding! Our guests were so impressed with how friendly and interactive James was and he worked so well with our videographer. We could not recommend him enough, thank you for capturing the most beautiful photos of our special day!

James was an amazing photographer very professional and kind. We had a great time working with him. He met and exceeded all expectations, going above and beyond. The photos came out beautiful. Beautiful photos from an amazing company
We are so glad we chose Outside and Instant to capture our special day, the communication in the lead up to our day kept us feeling relaxed and we knew our photos would be in safe hands. On the day, James was fantastic with all of our guests and ensuring all the group shots we wanted were captured. Now seeing the final product, the photos are everything we wanted and more! The engraved USB also makes for a lovely keepsake. 100/10 would recommend!

From start to finish, James and Charlotte had great communication. From the call back within a few hours of doing a form enquiry on a Sunday too the handing over of pictures. I can't fault them. Made everyone in the wedding feel at ease. Catered a package around our needs and was very reasonably priced, but with exceptional quality. James clearly scoped out the venue before and got the best possible experience. Also spend the money for the magic mirror, highlight of the evening for young and old
