Words can't begin to express how amazing David was as our wedding photographer. A chance encounter with David at Hedsor House and we instantly fell in love with his photography and the gorgeous Queensbury albums on display. On top of that, he followed up with several zoom meetings prior to our wedding day, really taking the time to be attentive to every detail and even fit himself around our busy schedules at ungodly hours. My husband and myself aren't the most naturally photogenic yet David was so easily able to manoeuvre our positions and shots, to capture us in the most beautiful way, whilst also taking the most wholesome candid moments with our family and friends. Even with my husband and myself being of African and Asian heritage, David truly respected and appreciated the details of our cultures and captured them beautifully. We cannot express enough how grateful we are that David shot our photos for our wedding. From meeting him at Caswell House open day, we were blown away by his professional manner and talent. After having to postpone a year due to COVID, David accommodated us and made things stress free and we were so glad we could still have him shoot our wedding. On the day, David bought fantastic energy to everyone around him and we had many comments from our guests and family about how brilliant our photographer was. He had fantastic rapport with everybody (including my lively bridesmaids!) and everyone felt at ease in his company - even those we knew hated having their photos taken. David kept the momentum and energy going even during some parts of the day when it was raining (some brides may feel this is their worst nightmare to have rain on the day but he made this fun and helped us see all the positives in this!) Luckily, we had a break in the rain and he captured even more fantastic shots.

Our wedding took place in Windsor. We knew that we must find a very professional photographer in order to capture the uniqness and magic of the town and selected venues, as well as capture our special moments. David did all that - and more.

As we are not from the UK, the process of planning our wedding from afar was challenging, but David helped us make it as easy as possible. We've had a number of video chats and email correspondences about our requests and desires, and David helped us focus and build a great pre-wedding photoshoot schedule. He also pointed us towards various beautiful locations in Windsor to choose from.

David was always professional, understanding and flexible, and he explained everything in great detail, which was very important for us. At the day of our marriage, he was there with us from 8:30 AM, made us feel comfortable and enjoy every moment of the pre-wedding photoshoot. He also made many great suggestions for photos.

The photos taken by David were everything we'd hoped for and more. They are simply stunning. David also took care of editing the photos, he guided us through the album-creation process and showed us examples from past weddings. It's unbelievable how high quality and beautiful his albums are, and we can't wait to receive ours!

For conclusion, we truly recommend hiring David for any event. He knows his field inside-out, his products are beautiful and his service is warm and professional. He managed to capture the magic and atmosphere of Windsor beautifully. Brava, David!

It was almost 2 years between us first meeting David, having our pre-shoot and finally getting married. The dreaded Covid led to 3 date changes and rescheduling hell! It was a painful experience but David was so nice and reassuring with every change and whilst many of his clients were going through the same situation, his approach and correspondence was very personal. I mention all of this just to express how nice David is and importantly he makes you feel very comfortable - you need to feel comfortable with your photographer! Hardly naturals in front of the camera we went for David's pre-shoot which absolutely served its purpose - we got to know David much better and felt a lot more at ease for the big day. We love David's style and his accolades speak for themselves and we had complete trust in him. Having received our photos, his skill in capturing those moments that could be gone in a second is unquestionable. David has a great energy and really got the crowd going for the big group shot - such a great photo! In the nicest possible way, David blends in to the background on the day - he is very discreet and unobtrusive whilst managing to capture those perfect shots at every stage of the day. We absolutely loved working with David! I was living in the States at the time, and my husband was studying for his exams, so all my communication and planning with David was via the phone and email. While it sounds like a hectic process, David made is easy and enjoyable! David photographed our wedding in May. From the moment we met David we felt very relaxed, he completely understood what we wanted from our day. David really impressed us from the first moment we met him. I'm sure like many people, we aren't used to posing for professional photos, so we were a little apprehensive about the process and felt it might feel a bit embarrassing.

It didn't. David prepares extensively, has numerous options and backup plans, communicates exactly what he's after and most of all makes the process genuinely fun.

Couple this with an exceptional technical ability with the camera and you have all the constituent parts for stunning photo's that capture the environment and joy of the day.

Indeed, to focus on one moment that really stood out for us:
David captured all 120 guests in one group shot indoors. Light came from 2 chandeliers and a fire, so hardly ideal! Yet... the image is stunning. Pin sharp, beautifully composed and really captures the mood of the day.
Behind this though, is the little things that make David stand out.
David didn't 'manage' or 'instruct' our guests. He was incredibly jovial and created a sense of occasion around the image, where everybody wanted to help and get it perfect. Also he didn't take some images, realise the lighting was off and fix in post production. He had prepared for this shot and had 5 flashes organised around the room to add light and highlight the photo in all the right places.

Of all the photographers we met, David was by some margin the most talented and professional. David seemed as excited about the wedding as we were and this really came through on the day.

We simply can't recommend him enough...
