Raphael Lionel Photography is a West Midlands-based award-winning photographer. Raphael captures personal stories and showcases unique details using creative photography techniques. With a unique perspective, Raphael effectively tells the story of one of the most important days of your life.

Services Offered

Candid, authentic moments are captured with care, from the pre-ceremony and getting ready to the first dance or the evening party. All collections feature an online gallery (with a print option). Additional offline storage is available via a branded USB at a cost depending on the collection. You may also request invites and save-the-date cards with images from your pre-wedding photography sessions. Collections start from £950 for 6hrs and upwards.

The option to have an additional photographer is available and if you choose the Romantic Collection, two photographers are included as standard. This is a great way to document both you and your beloved getting ready, telling a more complete story of your day.

Raphael loves travelling and will happily venture abroad to cover your destination wedding.

What services do you offer?

What does the wedding package include?

I have various collections on offer. All include an Online Gallery, High Res Images and myself, for varying amounts of hours. My top package features a deluxe Italian Young Book album and more

How far in advance should I contact you?

As early as you can. A retention fee starting from £250 is required to hold a date and this is non-refundable but will mean I refuse other bookings for the day you have requested

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No

Can you travel?

Yes, i drive and cover the UK and abroad

What is the charge for travelling?

I charge 40p per mile outside 50 miles of B1 postcode. Weddings outside the Uk will incur flight and accommodation costs

What style of photos do you take?

Artistic

Other (My style is relaxed, candid and documentary, however, I love being creative and use my studio and light skills to great effect at certain times of the day, amplifying my story telling style)

What kind of technology do you use?

Digital

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?

I like my couples to feel relaxed and natural. My style is reportage, but for my portraits of couples, I will give some direction. Couples are drawn to the bride and groom portraits I show

What kind of equipment do you use?

I shoot on two mirrorless Fuji Bodies with various lenses, flashes and light stands

Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?

Yes, i offer an online gallery for post purchasing and prints. I also create wedding slideshows for my clients in my blog posts with licensed music that really create a wonderful feel recalling the day

What's the delivery time for a photographic report?

1 month

Do you send all the photos taken?

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

In case of unforeseen circumstances, do you have a replacement photographer?

Per hour

How do you charge extra time?

I charge £150 extra per hour. My packages are inclusive of a set time and with good communication beforehand, I ensure both the bride and groom and I are happy with my coverage

What are the forms of payment?

Bank transfer or Paypal

How do you work?

I often document the day unobtrusively with a meticulous approach to detail. I give direction or make requests were necessary to capture elements important to your wedding story
