Where to start?! We cannot thank Dougi enough for our beautiful wedding photos! From the first conversation we had with Dougi he was the utmost professional gentleman! He put us at ease during our pre-wedding shoot and we loved his relaxed and fun approach to the photography!
On the wedding day our friends and family loved him too! My aunt said “he was everywhere and nowhere” meaning he had captured the whole day perfectly and you didn’t even realise he was there!!
We love love love our photographs and can’t stop looking at them! There are so many special memories captured!
Dougi was also extremely efficient with getting the photos to us, we had 4 the day after our wedding and the full album less than 3 weeks later - which I think is amazing!
Dougi also kept in touch in the lead up to the wedding and his communication was continuously excellent!
We would recommend Dougi to anyone getting married or to capture any special event!Dougi McMillan Photography's reply:

Dougi was an absolute delight to have for our wedding day! From booking to our pre wedding shoot and then to the actual day Dougi was so professional so friendly and the quality of his work is unmatched! We are absolutely obsessed with our photos! Everyone commented on the day how great he was too! We booked Doug 2 years in advance and unlike other suppliers Dougi kept in touch with us so we knew we were not forgotten about! Nothing was too much trouble on the pre wedding shoot or on the wedding day anything we asked for Dougi made it happen. We received 10 photos less than 24 hours after the wedding and then all of our photos only 3 weeks after the wedding! If you’re looking for a photographer for your special day look no further than Dougi! Get him booked! -

Listened to what we wanted and delivered it perfectly
We were sceptical about wedding photography and absolutely loathed the idea of an album full of posed and fake shots which captured rows of relatives and curated, staged images of us “having a lovely time”.
We told Dougi as much and he said he could deliver what we wanted, and he absolutely did. Inobtrusive and discrete he skirted the day taking hundreds of photographs that reflected us and our surroundings and friends and family perfectly. I love the photographs and he was so nice and easy to have as part of the day.Dougi McMillan Photography's reply:

My husband and I found Dougi’s portfolio of wedding photography in our search and we knew immediately that we had found our photographer. Dougi perfectly captured the candid, relaxed feeling we were hoping for. He really has an incredible eye for capturing moments. Dougi was such a joy to work with through every step of the process, from our first zoom meeting to receiving our gallery of photos. His great communication and support, flexibility and chill vibe put us right at ease. Thomas and I couldn’t be happier with our photos! And all of our friends and family have been complimenting them as well. We’re only sad that our time working with Dougi is over. -

Wedding of Mr & Mrs Lauder 3.8.24
Highly recommend Dougi, true professional and clearly enjoys his job.
He was so friendly, put us both at ease in front of the camera as well as interacting with our guests.
He worked really well with our videographers and we had a great laugh throughout.

The best wedding photographer ever!
Dougi is by far one of the best suppliers that we had at our wedding, we had so many of our guests comments on how friendly he was and was a great part of our day. We met up for our pre wedding shoot and Dougi made us both feel so at ease and relaxed, neither of us are used to getting our pictures taken but he managed to make it feel so natural and the smiles he captured were so genuine and lovely! He was very laid back and ensured that we enjoyed our day whilst also capturing beautiful photos. I will be recommending him to all of our friends and family for future weddings and any events! Amazing photographer!
Dougi is great, he photographed my wedding in late April this year and was just amazing! He made everyone feel so comfortable and really put us all at ease.
