Excellent candid magic

James was an incredible, almost invisible, presence on our wedding day. His pictures speak for themselves, but his actions and behaviours are what make him an excellent all-rounder.
A lovely guy, easy to communicate with, a good listener and responds quickly. On the day itself he was a photography ninja! Unobtrusive and polite but with a definite eye for *moments*. Only when we got the proof pictures through, did we realise how many times he must’ve been around the venue, the guests and captured the little moments we were probably too busy to see for ourselves. The pictures are a lovely range of black and white and colour with a few tweaks here and there to ramp up the magic in places. I’m sure it took a lot of talent to make it all look so effortless! I’d be so happy to work with him again and to find out where he got his incredible shoes from!

Fabulous Photos

James was very professional, fun and took some wonderful photos for us. Our photos are natural and capture all the special moments from our wedding day. We would highly recommend having James as your wedding photographer.

Amazing photographer

Absolute pleasure having James as our photographer. Many people commented and asked where we had found such a cool photographer. He was very flexible and accommodated any photo requests we had and then blended in perfectly to get those natural shots.

Amazing service from start to finish

We can’t recommend James enough. His photography speaks for itself. If you’re looking for documentary style with some traditional photos then book now! Exactly when we were looking for. Not only are the photos fantastic but James was great throughout the process. Really professional over email and phone but also really reassuring and calming despite the chaos of the day! Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!

James was hired to take pictures of a day full of surprises. He is so friendly, amenable, calm and unintrusive that a couple of our guests asked if we had a photographer. And yet he captured every poignant moment and, many, many more, superbly. It was a a day that demanded a lot from his services and he delivered in buckets. The final resulting pictures are everything we wanted and more.

Firstly I gathered our close family at a ruse restaurant venue to celebrate my birthday. Then I marched them across the road to the register office where my beautiful bride was waiting unbeknownst to any of them.

Ceremony completed and secrecy secured we all went onto the final venue where a further 120+ had gathered waiting to spring a surprise only to be surprised by our arrival as a married couple.

I read a review that was disgruntled about his footwear. James is a snap little dresser and wore multicoloured shoes, but a clown he DEFINITELY is not!!

Excellent!

I could not recommend James enough! Myself and my wife got married during a storm and we were so sceptical if anyone would make it but the photos would not show you that! James was amazing so friendly and made our day that little bit brighter despite the stress of it all!

Even from planning the wedding James communicated with us throughout and answered any questions would have!

Once receiving our photos me and my wife both looked through them and everything we had requested was photographed we have some amazing photos of family members and friends that are just so natural! Even of ourselves smiling and laughing with one another. I could not thank James enough for everything and making those memories special and something we can continue to look back on for the rest of our lives. Would highly recommend.

We were so happy to have James as our photographer!

James had been amazing from start to finish, the photos came out amazing and we received the gallery pretty quickly after the wedding day. James managed to get all the photos we wanted posed and a lot of photos in the moment as well! Thank you so much 😊

Honestly we cannot recommend James enough! Right from the initial phone call where we decided to book down to the post wedding emails, everything has been spot on. On the day he arrived and instantly started snapping some amazing shots. At times we barely knew he was there (which is what we wanted, we opted for more natural candid photography) and even when the day went a bit off course he was so accommodating and just a genuine and chill person! Made us feel at ease throughout our wedding. We recently received our photos and can’t believe how awesome the shots turned out, plus he got them back to us so quickly which is always a bonus! We were able to truly sit down and relive our day through these images. James edited them to our specific colour grade requirements, and every shot looks perfect. We are both so so happy and would recommend him to anyone! Thank you so much James, you made our wedding even better ☺️
