If you’re thinking about booking any other than Jamie Ellis Photography , then stop right there! Jamie is a bona fide 5 star professional. From an initial zoom conversation, through face to face meeting, until the final presentation of the pictures, he was brilliant.
On the day of the wedding, he arrived early to do his preparations and some reconnaissance . Jamie stayed much later than we’d expected too. He was very professional but thoroughly friendly throughout the day. We barely noticed he was there at times, as he took his shots candidly, to capture the most natural of moments. When we had the prearranged shots, he was serenely calm with everyone too.
We can’t recommend him highly enough!

If we could give six stars we would! Jamie Ellis is not only an incredibly talented photographer, he is also a lovely guy whose attention to detail is second to none. We got married very quickly (16 weeks from start to finish) due to the deterioration of my mother's dementia and from the start Jamie made us feel comfortable (we are not lovers of having our picture taken), he was sensitive to our situation and his pictures have captured moments we will cherish for a life time. Above all of this, the way Jamie chatted to my mum, and helped her when she became distressed was truly beautiful to see and he went above and beyond to get the best possible pictures. Jamie was there from 9.30am to around 10.30pm and he didn't stop. When we were all preoccupied enjoying the most special day of our lives, Jamie was off looking around the grounds for the perfect photo opportunities, places with the best lighting and specific areas of the grounds which could produce some astonishingly beautiful pictures. We would recommend Jamie without a second thought and we hope to see his name nominated for many photography awards in the future. We are so grateful for everything Jamie Ellis! Thank you!

Amazing photos
We chose Jamie as our photographer August 2024 and we couldn’t have chosen a better person to capture our day.
From start to finish, Jamie didn’t stop! We were both quite apprehensive about being in front of the camera but Jamie did a fab job at putting us as ease and making us feel comfortable. He was even kind enough to video the ceremony and speeches on the day when I found out my grandparents couldn’t make it.
Jamie worked endlessly all day and carried on late into the evening reception, to the point where we had to tell him he should go home! He was so dedicated to making sure he captured all the best moments of the day and did an amazing job.
When we received the photos we were blown away at how beautiful they are. Both the natural and formal shots are amazing and it is going to be difficult choosing which photos to put in our album as there are so many stunning pictures. We would definitely recommend Jamie for anyone looking for a photographer next year. -

Perfect from start to finish.
All we can say is how amazing Jamie was throughout the whole process. From the first time we met with him to discuss the wedding, we knew he was the right one for us. Not being the most comfortable behind the camera, he immediately put us at ease when we discussed what we wanted from the day.
When it came to communication, he made everything so straight forward and stress free, which is exactly what we needed in amongst all of the other wedding stress.
We had an engagement shoot with Jamie and despite the wind and rain, put his all into getting to know us and really helped us enjoy something way out of our comfort zone. Once we received the engagement photos, we knew that we had nothing to worry about with the wedding - they were in the moment and natural, just as we had asked.
Prior to the wedding, Jamie stayed in touch and it really felt like he was there whenever we needed.
On the day of the wedding, Jamie was simply amazing and every guest that we have spoken to has mentioned how patient and hardworking he was. We felt completely in control of the day and not only did Jamie take on board what we had asked for, but reminded us to enjoy the day, with no pressure to spend long periods away from guests.
We unfortunately didn’t manage to have some of our close family at the wedding due to illness, but Jamie was so kind and managed to record some of the key moments of the day for us with only a few days notice.
He captured every moment that we could have wanted and more and we are so grateful to have found someone that put so much effort into making our day super special. The quality of photos are incredible and would recommend to anyone looking for the perfect wedding photographer. -

Jamie was amazing. From our first meeting with him to our big day he went above and beyond for us. The photographs we have received are incredible and really captured our day perfectly. Jamie even drove back to get my bouquet as I forgot it for some of the pictures. If you’re looking for someone to work with you and really capture the feel of your special day look no further! I could not recommend highly enough. -

Jamie is absolutely wonderful! A pleasure to work with and a stellar photographer to boot. Incredibly hardworking and accommodating, guests were saying all day how much effort he was putting in - and they weren't wrong! Our photos are stunning and exactly the vibe we wanted. Hero of the day.
Where do I start? Jamie was our knight in shining armour. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we found ourselves without a photographer three weeks out from our wedding. On the off chance, I gave Jamie a call having seen his stunning work online. The fates shone and he had our date free. From that moment on, Jamie did absolutely everything to put our minds at ease and ensure that all we were feeling ahead of the day was excitement.
From the outset, Jamie showed not just a willingness, but a clear desire to give us the time we needed to go over everything ahead of the day. This was all done through gentle suggestions rather than being told we had to do anything. I’d also like to mention that in these early discussions, Jamie suggested a visit to a location immediately after our ceremony for a couples shoot that for the rest of our lives will be one of the fondest and most precious memories from the day. This was entirely down to his ambition and drive to deliver something exceptional.
On the day itself, there is no other way to describe Jamie than a machine. He was absolutely relentless. He worked in a way that was barely noticeable in moments, but was also there to guide and instruct in the moment where we needed that too. No matter what logistical challenge presented itself on the day, and for us that also even included some summer rain, Jamie was adaptable and able to produce moments of magic from situations that should have been issues.
There were times in the day where my Wife and I flagged, and in those moments, Jamie’s calm presence and patience kept us going. He was so appreciative of the emotional roller coaster that is a wedding day, and so personable with us both, which just put us completely at ease at every stage.
Finding Jamie was so nearly not meant to be for us, but my goodness are we glad we did. Jamie got our images back to us within 5 weeks of the wedding taking place, despite the fact that we were a last minute booking. The softness, warmth, and pure emotion in Jamie’s shots delver everything about your day you’ll treasure forever. Jamie is so much more than a photographer. He is a wonderful person, and a capturer of the most precious of moments that will tell the story of your day. -

Jamie was without a doubt the best decision we made. Made us feel at ease from the initial chat and the pre-wedding shoot was a great idea for us to get comfortable in front of a camera. We barely noticed Jamie on the day but from the previews he was always hiding in the perfect spot. Choosing the right photographer is important for your wedding and trust me when I say Jamie will be the right photographer for you.
