  Best decision we made

  Hiring Jonathan was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. We could not have asked for better.
  
  He was so communicative during the planning stages and patient when sometimes it took us a little while to respond. Jonathan was very accommodating when it came to creating a slightly bespoke package which we really appreciated.
  
  We were both quite nervous with being photographed and I can't recommend an engagement photoshoot enough - Jonathan immediately put two awkward people at ease in front of the camera and before long he felt more like a friend just from that first hour! After that, all our nerves of being photographed on the wedding day just melted away and the photos from that shoot were all fantastic.
  
  He really took the time to get to know us as a couple and what our wedding day would be like and his attention to detail was incredible - for example, he knew that my engagement ring was my mums, and took the most beautiful photo of it during the ceremony which was so lovely. On the day, Jonathan was everywhere (but also incredibly discreet)! There wasn't a moment that went by that passed his notice, and we absolutely loved the time he took in getting photos of all our friends and family enjoying the day. He captured the story of the day perfectly. Taking a lot of time for portraits wasn't too important to us as we didn't want to be taken away from everyone for long, and he totally understood. I think we only took around 20 minutes during dinner but the photos of just the two of us are beautiful.
  
  His attention to detail, his care and his friendliness are second to none. Jonathan was such a calm and supportive presence both on our wedding day and in the lead up to it, and we couldn't be more grateful for everything he did. Not only was his service wonderful and the photos amazing, but we had our previews within the week, and our full album a month later. The hardest part is choosing which ones to hang on the wall! If you're not sure who to hire for your wedding, just hire Jonathan. It'll be the best decision you make. Thank you! Claire & Si Hartley x

  Incredible photographer, but also amazing addition to the wedding day!

  First and foremost Jonathan's photos are just amazing and speak for themselves! Me and my partner can be very awkward in front of the camera, so having someone who makes you feel completely relaxed was just a blessing.
  Very very importantly - Jonathan is just a top guy. So so lovely... we even had friends and family saying how nice and kind he was on the day!
  He fit in seamlessly and you barely notice he's there getting the best shots. Silent camera and just rapid round the room! Additionally, he was super helpful, reminding us of a few details, fanning my train to perfection 👌 and getting so many shots we just hadn't thought of - plus just in the moment requests.
  I cannot recommend Jonathan highly enough 🙌

  Best wedding photographer in Oxfordshire!

  If you're looking for a photographer to capture a special event, do not hesitate to contact Jonathan!
  
  We reached out to him via his website to photograph our wedding, which was at the end of May 2024.
  Throughout the whole process, Jonathan made sure he got to know us as people and our story, rather than just treating us as 'another customer'.
  His documentary-style photography captured our attention immediately, and his focus on capturing those split-second, non-planned moments has meant that our wedding photos really tell a story of the day, and highlight the variety of emotions that we and our guests experienced.
  
  We booked an engagement shoot with Jonathan and he really made us feel at ease throughout. Nothing was forced or staged, meaning he truly captured the natural moments.
  
  On the day itself, Jonathan went above and beyond his role as photographer. He arrived early and left later then planned just to make sure he captured every last moment. All of our guests commented on how friendly and approachable he was.

  Memorable photos to last a lifetime!

  We can't thank Jonathan enough for capturing our special moments over the past 12 months, from our engagement shoot last year to our wedding this summer 2023 and everything in between. We love every single one of our photos and are thrilled with how Jonathan captured the fun, love, laughter and the drama of our memorable day!
  
  The whole process was seamless and to top it off we received our album recently which also is fantastic! A beautiful memory of our wedding day which we will treasure forever. We cannot recommend Jonathan more highly!

  Couldn’t have found for anyone better

  Jonathan was great. Everything was well organised and ready for our day. We’d booked Jonathan along with Rob to do our wedding video and it was great to have such a great team to capture our special day. Jonathan was so kind and helpful during the day and offered great advice and reassurance when needed. He made myself and my husband incredibly relaxed and helped us enjoy the picture taking experience. The photos were stunning, we are so incredibly happy with them. We love that he captured moments of the day in a great story telling manner. He took beautiful photos of our friends and family’s reactions which make them a joy to look back on. Thank you Jonathan.

  So much more than our wedding photographer

  Choosing Jonathan to capture our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made.
  
  From the beginning, Jonathan was fast in communication, and it was clear that he wanted to get a comprehensive understanding of us as people, as well as the day we were planning, so that his work could be as in-keeping with the theme and our vision as possible. His preparation was very thorough, which was very reassuring.
  
  On the day, Jonathan arrived early and stayed late, putting in a real shift to make sure that all of the important moments from the day were captured. He has perfected the ‘fly-on-the-wall’, unintrusive style of photography. This meant that the moments themselves happened totally organically, and this exactly how Jonathan captured them. Nothing felt staged or forced, and this was very important to us.
  
  As for Jonathan himself, he was so much more than our wedding photographer. He used his extensive wedding experience to guide us wherever we needed it. He was always incredibly friendly and warm to interact with, and many of our guests, including children, commented on how wonderful he was with them. He helped secure the buttonholes for several of the groomsmen, and the groom. He felt more like a friend or a guest, and this was so special to have.
  
  We received the preview shots the week after the wedding, and wow, we’re blown away. Jonathan captured a marvellous silhouette shot of the happy couple which is breathtaking. Even just from these preview shots, we couldn’t be happier with the quality, the style, and the intimacy of the pictures. We’re very much looking forward to seeing the full library.
  
  In summary, you shouldn’t hesitate to hire Jonathan for whatever photography needs you have. He will be professional but friendly, unobtrusive but thorough, and a delight to be around at all times.

  Great natural photos & friendly service.

  From our very first chat with Jonathan we knew he'd be the perfect photographer for our wedding. He was fantastic on the day and understood us so well, to the point some of our guests asked if we knew him before. And, on top of all that we received back the most amazing photos of our day.   Stunning and wonderfully captured wedding

  Jonathan captured our wedding spectaularly, the photos are gorgeous and we will treasure them. Looking through them brought back the emotions of the day. He captured some absolutely wonderful candid photos of our friends and family.

  November Wedding

  Jonathan was amazing to work with from start to finish and made everything feel so easy. His photography on that day was discreet yet he captured all our special moments from every angle.
