Incredibly talented and friendly photographer

We came across Lewis on the Hitched website and immediately felt he would be a good fit to capture our wedding – and we weren’t wrong. From the first consultation, he was really clear about his photography style and what we could expect from his services; and the final consultation a few weeks prior to the wedding really reassured me that he would capture all of the essential moments.
On the wedding morning, Lewis met me and my bridesmaids at our hotel to capture us getting ready – his energy levels were contagious and really got us in the spirit of celebration. Despite the room being very full with me, six bridesmaids and three stylists, Lewis was able to seamlessly work around everyone to ensure the morning was well documented. He moved across to the venue with us shortly afterwards and continued to catch all the special moments – a first look with my parents, gifts, getting ready. He was also more than happy to capture some of the ‘sillier’ requests from my sister and I.
Lewis stayed with us for the rest of the day, until around 9pm – he somehow managed to be everywhere without us even noticing he was there, but based on the previews, I’m confident he has captured so many special moments. One of our guests even came up to me an extatically exclaimed ‘your photographer is everywhere, it’s great!’. The portrait previews we have seen are absolutely stunning – not only did we get some beautiful photos during and after the ceremony, Lewis was always on the look out for more opportunities for a good photo, and he even spotted a brief moment where the sky looked on fire at sunset, and quickly got us outside for a photo opportunity that I had wished for, but didn’t think I’d get with it being a cloudy day – so massive props to him for that!
I’m so incredibly happy that we found Lewis – his photos capture the emotion in every little moment and every image is the perfect reflection of the love and happiness we felt on the day. I shall treasure these photos forever, and can’t thank him enough for the wonderful job he did documenting our special day.

Wedding at DodFord Barn 30/11/24

Lewis came across as really professional and was very easy to work with. He has captured some great moments without us even knowing he was there to take the shots as we wanted to go for a more natural look. We would definitely recommend.

A talented and all-round nice guy.

I was a guest at Emma & John’s wedding and just wanted to take a moment to leave a comment on their photographer (not something I usually do!).

Lewis was organised but flexible, relaxed but in control, respectful but cracked a timely joke or two. It was a pleasure to be around someone who genuinely enjoyed his job.

I wasn’t the bride but I’d happily recommend him 😀.

Friendly wedding photographer

The photographer was really friendly and got the very best out of everyone. He dedicated himself thought the entire event to capture all the key moments in a very relaxed and natural manner. We got some great photos to remember the event

What a fantastic Wedding photographer!

We cannot praise Lewis enough! Great communication, quality service, wonderful support and on the day he was fab. Lewis was unobtrusive, conscious not to take us away from our guests for too long and helped create some really memorable photos of our special day. Our guests loved and trusted him too - he mingled and got some great natural shots of people throughout the day. We would highly recommend Lewis to capture your special day!

Couldn't of asked for a better photographer!!

Lewis was absolutely phenomenal and exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment he arrived, he made us feel completely at ease, which was a huge relief during what could have been a stressful day. As a long-time friend, we already knew him as a person, but his professionalism on the day was second to none. He arrived early, was efficient, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. The style and quality of the photos were exactly what we had envisioned—perfect in every way. He truly captured the essence of our special day. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing and approachable he was, and the positive feedback kept pouring in. One of my favourite shots is of us standing underneath the veil. The editing and quality of that image bring me to tears every time I see it. It perfectly transports me back to that magical moment, and I will cherish it forever. Incredibly talented photographer

Lewis is professional, genuine and so talented. He will make you feel at ease all day. Lewis loves the candid photos and we loved that about him. We didn’t have to pose for ages for photos and he was asking us all day exactly what we wanted. If you book Lewis, be sure you will have a great photographer for your wedding. We could not fault Lewis one bit. You want to feel comfortable with your photographer to get the most out of your photos, and he for sure is great at doing so. We wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture our day. Thank you so much Lewis!

Amazing photographer!!

Lewis is on our venues recommended list and we couldn’t be happier with his service - he completely put us at ease throughout the whole lead up, holding meetings with us to go over all the timings and he was always so quick to respond to any messages! He’s so easy to get on with and had a brilliant balance of getting the group shots and capturing the day as it happens. During the day he checked in with us to make sure he was capturing all the photos we wanted as well as having his own ideas for creative shots (which turned out beautifully and are some of our favourites from the day). The must-book photographer

Lewis did the photography for our wedding and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He made it easy, even for someone who hates having their pictures taking. He was very accommodating and also let us enjoy the day without feeling like we were constantly taking photos.

We got a number of photos back less than a week after the wedding, and they are absolutely brilliant and capture the best bits of the day. Cannot wait to see the rest!
