We’re so glad we picked Stephen as our wedding photographer! Stephen was also by far the best value photographer we came across in our research. And now that we’ve seen the results, we know for sure we picked the right guy.
My wife and I aren’t the most outgoing couple and can be a little uncomfortable with being on camera, but he put us at ease from the word go. He did a call with us and his assistant (Jo) the week before the wedding to run through all the finer details and make sure he was aware of all the shots we wanted to capture. And as he had covered our venue before (Eastington Park) he brought a tonne of bespoke recommendations ahead of our big day.
When it came to the morning of the wedding, the weather was on our side, meaning he was able to get the drone in the air to capture some breathtaking aerial shots. He spent some time with both the groomsmen and the bridal party as they were getting ready. His style is very much a mix of both candid, natural images and sophisticated snaps. He has a good eye for scenic opportunities too, capturing shots of wedding decorations, flowers and other little bits around the venue. And when it came to the ceremony, he made sure to get every angle covered.
Maybe his best characteristic is how he is with the kids. Even the most stubborn or nervous child he managed to get a smile or two out of, which with our nieces and nephews is saying something! If you have little ones coming to your wedding, you can count on him to get some great shots. But we also got plenty of compliments from our guests about how amazing Stephen was throughout the day, and how easy going and friendly he and Jo were to chat to. He managed to get pretty much every shot we asked for, and was even kind enough to stick around a little later to get our Mother of the Groom/Bride dance.
We got about 10 pics through literally the day after the wedding for us to share on social, then it took 4 weeks to get the link to all of the photos. And we were blown away. We got over 650 pics, covering pretty much every key moment, as well as a plethora of lovely spontaneous ones. There were even some quirky and odd choices in there, which might not be to everyone’s taste, but for us are now hilarious keepsakes.
As for the highlights film, we are so glad we added it onto our package. If you’re like us and a video is very much a nice-to-have rather than a priority, then the film Stephen puts together is a great budget option over a dedicated videography package. It arrived a week or so after the rest of the photos and he even managed to get the license to use a song of our choice. While we didn’t do our wedding album through him, he was kind enough to recommend a third party quality supplier that produces canvases, prints and more. We will certainly be using them for at least a few items.
All in all, a huge thanks to both him and Jo for giving us so many ways to remember our perfect day. We would highly recommend!Stephen J Griffin Photography & Videography's reply:

It was a pleasure to have Stephen and Jo with us on our special day. They captured our wedding in images and video beautifully.
We were delighted the photos, video and coffee book. The whole package was incredible value for money and we would highly recommend!

Great photos!

Wedding day was perfect.
The second I met him I knew he was the one for us,he was so calm and kind and very professional. He made me feel calm and re assured me everything was ok and even showed me some photos to see if I was ok with them 10/10 experience.

Perfect with amazing photos and video to look back on!
It's a difficult decision to take when picking your wedding photographer.....we are so happy and pleased that Stephen was able to capture our wedding.
From the initial moment we asked for a quote for our wedding, Stephen was enthusiastic and fully committed to providing the best photos we wanted for our wedding.
He was reassuring, relaxed, approachable and incredibly professional.
Always contactable, with meetings over what we wanted and he and his assistant Jo have the perfect balance in being around when needed but staying in the background and getting perfect shots of our guests.
Throughout the day we were never rushed or felt pressured for photographs and they caught so many moments that we hadn't seen, really capturing the whole day itself.
Bonus of both a photographer, videographer and drone pilot meant we were given the best video of our wedding to look back on, capturing the real essence of our day.
The real test though is when the photos arrive......will they live up to what you want or expect.
To say we both were emotional whilst going through them says it all. They were beautiful.
Thank you Stephen and Jo for capturing our wedding with such care and dedication. We're so glad our paths crossed.

Steve and Jo really went above and beyond for us on our special day. From the first communion with Steve I knew he was the one I wanted for our day. Meeting him I knew he completely understood what we wanted. His professionalism and commitment to making iur day the best it could be was endless. He was patient and kind and inclusive of everyone. And what can I say about Jo! She is a complete delight. From meeting her on the morning of my wedding to her support and kindness throughout was something I’ll never forget and always appreciate. Wow, just wow! I don’t even know where to begin, from the very first initial enquiry through to post wedding, Stephen has been absolutely incredible.
We first made contact with Stephen through hitched, his response was extremely rapid and we had an initial fact find call booked and completed within a couple of days. Stephen was knowledgable and explained everything that we needed to know, followed by help and advice to allow us to make the right choices. The quote was almost instant and extremely competitive. We didn’t need to make any further decisions…Stephen was our wedding photographer!
We then met Stephen in person to talk through more detail, he wanted to really get to know us as a couple so that he could fully understand what we wanted from our day. After this meeting, Stephen was constantly in contact with further ideas and updates and ensuring everything he had was correct. This take us to the most magical day…the wedding!
Of course, you’re anxious about what the final photos/videos are going to come out like, well there is no need to worry about that! Stephen and Jo (cannot forget Izzy too) were amazing with both myself and my now husband, from the moment we arrived to the venue. They all kept us feeling calm and everything was in order, you didn’t have anything to worry about. It was just the most amazing service. Not only for photography, but for little things like helping with button holes and putting shoes on! They don’t get in the way, to be honest you don’t even know they’re there half the time, they just work their magic!
The photos/videos…can it get any better than the service above…the simple answer…YES! The time frames of receiving everything back was just incredible. We were kept fully updated on timeframes and had first look photos, which just made you want more! The mini video was just amazing and captured all of the important parts.
I can not honestly recommend Stephen enough, he will not disappoint. His professional and personable service throughout was out of this world, and we will forever be in debt to Stephen for not only making our special day so amazing, but for the beautiful memories he has provided us with!

Picture perfect
Steve we honestly can not thank you and Jo enough. From initial contact to the wedding day to the final photos you have been nothing but amazing. Your responses were prompt and you kept in regular contact. You listened to our vision and what photos we would like. You blended in so well ourselves and the wedding guests often did not notice you were there!
You both made the process fun and enjoyable. The photos and videos you managed to capture are more than we could have ever asked for.
