Some are big. Some are small. Some are extravagant. Some are understated. Some are traditional. Some are more unusual. No matter how you do it every wedding is a one off and as unique and exciting as the people responsible for it; you. It's one of the biggest and most exciting days of your life!

That's why having that amazing visual record of your day afterwards is so important; you'll want to be able to recall that feeling. Images of the day help stimulate the memories and emotions. So when the dust's settled and you're cozying in to your new life together, it's great to be able to sit together with a cup of coffee (or fizz) and enjoy the day all over again while flicking through your album.

However you do your big day, my job is capture the special moments for you so you can revisit them later. So you can share them with friends and family and swap memories with them too, and maybe discover things you missed!

My style is very much an unobtrusive documentary approach, keeping a low profile and capturing the special spontaneous moments as they happen, I'm not here to direct your wedding day, but to capture it as it unfolds. That doesn't mean I won't help guide you to get the best pictures when it's those more posed couples pictures time, but it's all done in a very easy-going style; keeping things as stress-free for you is the key. Similarly, because every wedding is different, I do not have one prescriptive editing style. How I edit photos afterwards is very much tailored to the couple, location, style and general feel of your day. Your wedding is unique, your photos of that day should be too.

But before we get to that chatting is the first most important step... We'll get together and you can tell me all about how your wedding is unique and what it is you want from me in terms of type of coverage you want. The discussion doesn't stop there; it can be a long time between booking the photographer and the big day! You can keep in contact with me to discuss any new and interesting ideas you might think of. Similarly, dependent on your type of wedding or venue, I may fire ideas your way for your consideration.

Depending on your choice of package you will also be able to choose the details of album you wish, customising the colour and material to match your style.

Every package also comes with a complimentary engagement/pre-wedding shoot, so we can spend some time together before the big event. That way you can get a feel for how I work and prepare you for being more comfortable in front of a camera on the big day itself. Plus you get a load of cool romantic pictures to add to your collection or use as part of your wedding stationery!

I am flexible, so can cover any location in Scotland (and even outside Scotland if you like)* plus to keep things straight-forward; so you have less stress over decision making at this busy time, I offer four full day packages, each with a different final presentation product.
