Feel overwhelmed? Most couples are inundated with offers and messages. There's so much to decide and it's genuinly hard to make good choices. If you wish, I can help. I have 16 year's experience as a Wedding Photographer and I'm very happy to answer your questions and offer any guidence I can about photography or other aspects of your wedding.
My name's Ben
I started shooting weddings in my teens and have been shooting for 16 years. I shoot in a documentary style; that means I much prefer to shoot things as they happen, catching real moments. You get WAY BETTER photos this way. Not 'awkward family photos' but the genuine belly laughs and real reactions. This is Wedding Photojournalism, it’s the way forward.

I cover everywhere, that’s the whole of the UK the whole of Europe, and further than that too. Travel is included in the price anywhere within 100 miles of my home. which is bang in the middle of the midlands.

Other (You can have a short wedding film shot on super 8 cine film. This is unique as far as i'm aware. You get a very cool genuinely retro video shot on film. It's then edited to music)
What does the wedding package include?
Full day's shoot. Bridal prep through 'til the Party. Hundreds of fully edited photos on USB. Full printing rights attributed to you. An online album for family and friends to view. £200 Album Voucher
How far in advance should I contact you?
The sooner the better. I have couples booking sometimes three years in advance however the average booking time is 12 to 18 months before the wedding
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, the whole of the UK and Europe as I do destination weddings. Free travel anywhere withing 100 miles of Leicester
What is the charge for travelling?
Within a 100 miles of Leicester is free including the Midlands, East Coast, parts of Wales, Bristol, etc. Further than that and destination weddings, it's best to get a quote

Other (Reportage and natural. Although i'm happy to set up family photos and group shots the reason couples tend to go with me is my reportage photography, catching moments as they happen)
What kind of technology do you use?

Other (The other being Super 8 cine film. Technically Analog but it's hard to explain with just a tick box)
Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
Natural photos, catching things as they happen, they make for way better photos and way better memories
What kind of equipment do you use?
Professional grade cameras that write to two cards simultaneously. Predominantly Prime lenses as they capture the light that much better
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, after the wedding I start editing and put up an online album for you and your family and friends to view
What's the delivery time for a photographic report?
1 month
Do you send all the photos taken?

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?
Alone

How do you charge extra time?
I often don't as usually it's a full day's shoot and so included. Otherwise it's price on request. But you wouldn't be hit with an unexpected bill after your wedding
What are the forms of payment?
Bank transfer, PayPal, credit or debit card, cash are all fine although there is a small surcharge for credit cards. Standing orders are popular as many couples pay monthly
How do you work?
I say reaction photography because I don’t set staged moments, I capture them as they happen instead. I love shooting this way, the reactions are real and the moments timeless
