Shutter Hire is a wedding photography company based out of Cardiff, Wales. Owner Katrina is an award-winning photographer and is happy to travel to couples based across England and Wales. This professional has a fondness for natural coverage, capturing the authentic feel and candid moments that make each celebration magical.
Services Offered
On the day, Katrina will mingle with your guests and help everyone feel at ease in front of her lens. She's also happy to incorporate a drone into her equipment for striking group photos and shots of the venue. The process starts with a consultation, which you can have over video call or at the Shutter Hire studio in Dinas Powys. Katrina's wedding package promises full-day coverage, from the pre-ceremony preparations to the first dance. Her images will be delivered on an online viewing gallery, as well as on a USB with printing rights so you can print your favourites.

How do you work?
Generally I attend bridal preparations around 1.5 hours before the ceremony. This is to capture the dress, details and bridal party. I leave around 9pm or after the first dance (whichever comes first)

City Centre Wedding
We had a wedding in Cardiff city centre and Katrina was really creative with our photos and took complete advantage of the setting, we even had photos on the merry-go-round. We had beautiful photos of the ceremony, family, the restaurant and then natural photos of everyone enjoying the day. Katrina is really organised, she took charge and made sure she got all the photos without imposing on the day in anyway. She made us feel completely at ease and it was a joy having her there. We had our photos back really quickly and we’re over the moon with them.

Top class Wedding Photographer 📸
I would highly recommend Shutterhire for any occasion. But our wedding photos, from the initial meeting to the end product of the album was nothing but amazing. Wouldn't of gone with anyone else for our special day.
