HI! We're Soph and Kyle! We're a Nottingham based alternative Wedding Photography and Film duo, alongside our husky (Ivy) who we thought deserved a prime spot on our home page. DOGS > CATS.
We live in the awesome city of Nottingham in the super central East Midlands, but we’ll travel anywhere for an epic wedding day - destination wedding anyone?
There’s two of you, so there’s two of us. Your wedding is about the BOTH of you so we’ll be there to capture your day to the max.
OUR APPROACH
Our aim is always for our couples to feel like we're just two extra friends with cameras for the day. we have been called 'photography ninjas' with an unobtrusive approach and referred to as a 'bonus bridesmaid' on more than one occasion.
You're planning a fun wedding and we want you to enjoy every moment of it - without the pressure to follow traditions or stand for hours taking group shots! *YAWN*. we're all about the real moments.
Your wedding photo experience shouldn’t kill or impact the vibe of your day - we want to elevate it!
FUN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
We are untraditional, relaxed and mostly documentary wedding photographers who love everything from a modern barn wedding in derby to a nottingham city wedding with a street-art filled couple shoot. a colourful alternative industrial mill in sheffield or festoon lit woodland wedding venue in northampton.
We're there to capture everything from your vows to wedding flowers to your family and friends having a blast. We'll blend into the background for most of the day snapping plenty of candid moments, with some epic wedding portraits and some added fun to your wedding album make it memorable for you and your wedding party.
Ultimately though, we’re all about how your wedding FEELS. our approach to wedding photography is documenting real moments between you and your favourite people. we'll tell the story of your day across hundreds of awesome images. the genuine emotions. the good vibes, the fun and the laughter.

Hiya! I'm Soph. The owner of Sophie Ann Photography.
I promise not to ramble on too much about me, after all – this is all about you! However, if I did happen to become your photographer it won’t take long for us to become friends, so I may as well introduce myself properly!
I live in Northamptonshire with my lovely Husband, Kyle and dog. I have a beautiful, (but crazy) Husky named Ivy. I’m a tiny bit dog obsessed, so if you happen to have one we’ll get along for sure. Plus, if you’re including them in your big day, I’d be over the moon to meet them! I’m a computer whizz, chocoholic and rarely found without a camera in hand.
I got married myself May 2019 and cannot believe how crazy it feels to be someone's wife! Choosing a photographer was probably one of the hardest things I did when planning my wedding, but having been through it myself, I completely understand your excitement, nerves and know just how important your photos will be. I promise you that the time you are spending making everything how YOU want it is 110% worth it. I hope I can be a part of your perfect day.
