Winner of the Hitched Wedding Photographer Award 2024. Stephen J Griffin Photography, based in the Cotswolds, offers wedding photography and videography, and drone imagery, to couples across South West England, Wales and more broadly across the UK. With over 10 years experience, Stephen specialises in using a photojournalistic style which allows him and his assistant Joanne to capture natural and candid moments without interfering with the flow of the wedding day.
Stephen says "You won't see us spending too many hours doing formal shots while the wedding story is happening elsewhere. Instead, we will be moving around the venue, searching for and anticipating those ‘one-off’ moments that couples will cherish for the rest of their lives."
You'll see from the images uploaded here on Hitched that Stephen favours bright and vibrant colour grading, which he uses in editing to match the joy and happiness of a wedding event. But he is equally comfortable offering other colour gading and black & white photos.
The booking process and preparation is really simple and coordinated through our Pixieset Client Management System (CMS), as shown below - Stephen and Joanne will be with you at every step of your journey:
- Initial phone call or video call (Skype, Teams, WhatsApp, etc) to discuss client requirements and agree to proceed.
- Complete simple online questionnaire to collect details for the contract.
- Review and sign contract.
- Pay 20% securing deposit.
- NLT 4 weeks to wedding date pay remaining 80% balance
- Approx 2 weeks from wedding date - follow-up phone call or video call to check final arrangements.
- Attend Wedding Rehearsal (where applicable).
- Photograph (and video where applicable) the happy day
- Approx 4 weeks after the wedding, deliver digital images and USBs
