Based in Leicestershire/Lincolnshire, Swan Photography is a bespoke photography service that brings a personal touch to each wedding album. With over 30 years of experience, Gillian specializes in traditional photography that truly reflects her clients.
Services Offered
Gillian loves wedding photography and treats each special day as the once-in-a-lifetime occasion it deserves to be. With a personable, attentive approach, Gillian invites her clients for a free consultation to create their own magical wedding package. To ensure they get the most out of their photography session, Gillian encourages couples to meet with her at their venue of choice before their big day.
Helping every couple feel relaxed during their wedding celebrations is key to achieving her natural style. Gillian provides a discrete and swift service fully adapted to the surroundings. Once the couple is happy with their session, the images will be provided on a wedding themed USB with the option for an A3 leather-effect album designed within their wedding theme.

What does the wedding package include?
Full day Service (normally between 10am - 8pm). Unlimited images presented on a memory stick for couple to keep. A3 Wedding album of 120 of your chosen images at extra cost of £300.00
How far in advance should I contact you?
I can be contacted anytime and I will do my best to accommodate
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

What is the charge for travelling?
There is no charge for local weddings - Lincs, Leics or Rutland
£40 for Northamptonshire

Outstanding
Gillian was absolutely fantastic from planning our photographs and giving us ideas and timings right through to spending our day with us, taking the most beautiful photographs and video clips and sending us all the photos. She was professional but also approachable and her communication was outstanding. Can’t thank her enough

Would recommend to everyone
Gillian is a fantastic photographer and a wonderful lady. We had a great time with her on our special day a few weeks ago (24th August) and are still going through the photos (over 2000 of them) She got some really beautiful shots as well as some very funny candid ones. We are going to have trouble deciding which are our favourites. Thank you so much Gillian xx

Highly recommended photographer
Gillian photographed our wedding at Normanton Church and for our wedding breakfast at 'the Barnsdale' .
We met Gillian at both venues a few weeks before the actual day so we could go through what my husband and I wanted, plus get some ideas of Gillian on what she thought was the best being a professional.
Gillian is fun, caring, reliable.
We first met her a couple of years before our wedding at a friend of ours and we loved her.

Amazing!! Can not thank Gillian enough!
Gillian was lovely from the first phone call to our wedding day, responding quickly to any emails/messages and answering any questions we had. On our first meeting at the venue with Gillian, she made us feel comfortable straight away and excited with all her ideas of great photo opportunities. Gillian was professional throughout our day and made sure we got all the photos we requested and more. I cannot fault Gillian in any way. She really was amazing. The photos turned out beautifully which were sent through email for us to have on our phones and a beautiful memory stick sent to us through the post for us to forever keep. Thank you so much Gillian!! We love looking through them and remembering our special day!

Suited me perfectly
Absolutely amazing. I am struggling to find the words to do Gillian justice. She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I hate having my photo taken and posey just isn’t my style. Photos turned out perfect. Highly recommend her.

Fabulous! Truly a wonderful experience!
So impressed by Gillian, her close up photos were fantastic, she was very professional. She took such lovely photos of us all, capturing the personality and uniqueness of each and every one of us! There were such a variety of shots and she took so many natural, fly on the wall photos, which is just what we wanted! She was flexible and listened to what we desired! Gillian also took lovely staged shoots of our two families! We feel so lucky & blessed to have found her! She is such a talented photographer and very reasonably priced! Would highly recommend her. My daughters described Gillian as “phototastic”! Thank you so much for helping us have such a beautiful record of our day wedding. 💗

Fantastic photographer and fantastic experience!
Gillian was absolutely fantastic! She was flexible and helpful and got lots of beautiful shots of both myself, my husband and our family and friends. She really has exceeded our expectations and her communication was on point. We has some staged photographs but there were loads of natural shots which just enhanced our photography collection. We would highly recommend this wonderful and professional photographer! She has a real passion!!

Brilliant!!
Gillian was our wedding photographer for our wedding in April and she was brilliant, we was friendly, kind and made us all at ease. we had a fantastic day filled with laughs and jokes and the photo's she took where beyond our expectation and absolutely fabulous. she captured moments we will cherish for a life time. her photos showed our true personalities not just posed smiles like some photos. it showed what a lovely happy day it truly was. and having our dog in the photos just made our day even more special.

Absolutely fantastic
Swan photography was our photographer for our wedding August this year (2022) I had made the decision early on that I didn’t want a professional photographer because I am so camera shy and absolutely hate the pressure of posing and being in front of the camera. We met Gillian a few weeks before our wedding date at our chosen venue and she has such a kind, calm, friendly nature she really put my mind at ease and I’m now so pleased we had a photographer. We have some absolutely amazing photos to remind us of our special day. I would highly recommend Swan photography to anybody, nothing was too much trouble and the end result is absolutely fantastic.

Fantastic photographs which capture wonderful memories
Gillian was just fantastic. She took the time to listen to what we wanted and produced some wonderful photographs for us. Gillian made us feel totally relaxed throughout the day, I am not a fan of having my photo taken however Gillian was do subtle and captured beautiful pictures when I was not even aware which really helped and put me at ease .
