We booked Paul for our wedding this summer and my word were we happy with the results. Paul’s style totally matched our tastes and his creativity and approach to photography is incredible. For what under the surface was quite a simple wedding, Paul managed to capture the quirkiness of our day and parts that made our day unique to us. We couldn’t recommend him enough! Thank you Paul!

Paul photographed our wedding on the 11th October and he was absolutely fantastic.
We enquired earlier this year and almost instantly Paul arranged for us to have a video call. The call was professional, informative and you could really tell how lovely and friendly he was. There was absolutely no pushing or pressure to book and we were given the option to talk about it before making a decision.
From booking to the day of the wedding he hasn’t been far away and has always been easy to contact if we needed him. We had another video call about 2 weeks before the big day to discuss the run down, any particular shots we wanted and anything else we might need to know.
On the day, not only were we impressed but so were our guests. So many of them commented on how friendly Paul was, how he easily fit into the crowd and a lot of the time we had forgotten we had a photographer - which is exactly what you want when you’re both awkward and don’t like taking pictures. We felt like we had the best of both worlds, taking some amazing photos but also not feeling like we were pulled all over the place for photos and had chance to enjoy the day too.
The preview photos we recieved were amazing, we are so in love with them and can’t wait to see all the rest of the pictures!
I wouldn’t hesitate to book Paul again, and I will recommend him to everyone I can!

Paul photographed our wedding at the start of August and he did a brilliant job. Right from booking he was really responsive and his website is easy to navigate/understand. I had done a lot of research in to local photographers and Paul's work stood out to me, loved his style.

On the day of our wedding he arrived early and was a calming and (sometimes!) unseen presence around us. My partner is very photophobic but Paul was great at setting up shots and making us feel relaxed, nothing was too forced or unnatural. He was also very patient with our overtired toddler who was slightly harder work then usual!

Our photos arrived just shy of 2 months later and they were beautifully presented with a Bearded Man USB stick in a muslin bag. We don't even remember seeing him for some of the shots and he captured everything beautifully. My only regret would be not booking him for longer!

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was choosing Paul to be our photographer. He has been absolutely fantastic since our initial enquiry, throughout the wedding preparations, and on and after our wedding day.

Our wedding had a relaxed-vibe, and Paul did an incredible job of reflecting this in our photos. Paul was very present, but also blended in allowing us to relax and forget that we were in the spotlight! He spent time chatting to our family and friends, whilst also capturing all the emotion and best moments from our day... even the bits we missed!

We feel so lucky to have found Paul, and cannot recommend him highly enough to anyone who is looking for a very likeable, no-stress photographer.

We recently had the pleasure of Paul being our photographer at our wedding this year and my goodness, where do I start!?! From the first moment we made contact with Paul, he was super friendly and knowledgeable and really listened to what we would like from our photos. With so many other things to think about on our wedding day, Paul made this part so easy. He gave great ideas and advice and was fantastic with our 8 year old wild child son (particularly on the day!). All of our guests on the day equally commented on how much Paul just blended in with everyone and nobody felt under pressure to strike an awkward pose nor did anyone feel that tons of times were taken up by "formal" photos. The end result was that we had a fantastic wedding with the best photos we could ever have imagined from our special day, all delivered with some super cute treats and Bearded Man merchandise! Paul is the best - he shot a friend's wedding, and we saw him capture their day in a very understated, real way that we just loved. So when we got engaged, securing him was one of our first jobs we ticked off the wedmin list ! And so happy we did - he was a lovely addition to our day, capturing moments that we didn't even know we wanted and making sure we (efficiently!) got the must-have shots. We got some pictures on the evening of the day itself, incredible. Cannot recommend Paul enough. Thank you Paul!

Really enjoyed having Paul around to share our special day , full of advice , calm and captured the happiness of the day. Photos are modern and casual and quick - I didnt want to disappear for ages and miss out on the fun! We were sent previews throughout the day which we loved and made us so excited to receive the actual photos. Paul also worked within our budget to make us bespoke package . Just love love love Paul.
He made us feels incredibly at ease on the day. So easy to work with. But our photos are just so far beyond what we could have hoped for. I have tried to say thank you so many times but I don’t know if he will ever know how grateful we are to him. He’s givens so many photos of special moments we had already forgotten about.
The pictures are so gorgeous and make us look so much cooler than we are!!
We are just so thrilled with them and could not recommend him more highly.

Paul is fantastic!! Highly recommend if you're looking for a photographer for your special day. He made us feel so relaxed from the get go with his calm energy, and chilled, but incredibly professional approach. We absolutely adore our photos. I didn't even notice him taking them and there's so few that are posed. The rest are all natural and he's captured some truly special moments.
