I cannot recommend Richard enough!! Much more than 5*s!! From start to finish, Richard has been amazing. We will cherish our wedding photos forever, they tell such a beautiful story of our perfect day.

I would say one thing - listen to your photographer when they tell you not to worry about rain! We wasted too much time stressing about the weather - a little summer shower and drizzle didn’t mean anything on the day. The photos are simply perfect! So do not worry! Richard told us a million times not to worry and we should have listened! Your photographer is a professional and trust their judgement.

Richard slotted into our wedding party perfectly and you can tell how relaxed everyone was in his company. He felt like one of our friends on the day, we felt really relaxed in his company. We met with Richard a few weeks before the day, so that we felt at ease. We talked through the day / formal photos / start times etc. Everything ran smoothly on the day.

We received a sneak peak of a few photos a couple of days later which was lovely!! Still on the high from the wedding day we were in for such a treat when the full album was delivered. I’ve had a few questions since the wedding and Richard has always promptly replied and helped me with my enquiry.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Richard as a wedding photographer!

Richard was brilliant from start to finish. Aside from his work, he is such a great guy, very down to earth, eager to help with any questions we had and very funny. Before the big day, we spoke to Richard a few times via email/phone and had a video meeting with him too. I had also spoke to him via Instagram so felt like I knew him!

On the day itself, he was brilliant. He didn’t impose at all, in fact I forgot he was even there! He was very calming during the morning and was brilliant with our guests too.

We booked Richard alongside Stephen Whitehead (videographer) and all our guests commented that both Richard and Stephen were brilliant! Very personable but professional too.

The photos Richard has produced for us are just perfect – everything we wanted and more. I’m obsessed with looking through them!

Richard provided us with around 10-15 photos within 48 hours of the wedding day. It was brilliant timing and we sent them round to all our family and friends who also loved them! We then received the full package (of around 1000 photos!) within 6 weeks of the wedding day! AMAZING. I absolutely love them and have spent hours pouring over them!

Richard kept in touch with us throughout – from booking through to receiving the end result. He is great at communicating and is a genuinely nice person too! We are so grateful to him for his hard work, he has captured so many special memories for us.

Richard did our Wedding photography and we cannot recommend him highly enough. Very professional throughout and especially helpful in the preparation and detail, asking great questions we hadn't considered. My husband and I got married on 12th November 2022. Richard was the photographer we chose to capture our special day and we couldn’t be happier with our experience.
We first looked at Richard’s website (thisisrichard.co.uk) and we were both very impressed. His website was modern, up to date and professional. We absolutely loved his style of photography while scrolling through his portfolio. His compositions almost had a warm, modern retro/vintage flavour which we were drawn to and was a perfect balance of natural candid shots and posed shots. We then arranged to meet Richard to chat with him and gage if we would click and work well together. When we met him, he was so friendly and laid back – we knew instantly that he was the photographer we wanted to work with.
What made us even more elated was the fact Richard got married at our venue The Mill and was particularly enthusiastic to shoot there, which made us even more excited & made him even more ideal as he could put himself in our shoes and had an existing knowledge & an eye for places to compose shots.
On the build up to our wedding, Richard made himself accessible via email and WhatsApp which was really helpful if we had any queries or updates. We also met up with him one final time the week or so before our wedding to finalise the entire plan of the day and what our wants and expectations were (for instance what particular shots we would like). Being able to reach Richard anytime was very important and reassuring to us both.
On the day, Richard was amazing. He worked incredibly alongside our videographer Steve from Capture by Design – they were an amazing team and bounced off each other extremely well. They both honestly made our day so easy and enjoyable. They were able to capture special natural moments throughout the day, but also put us at ease when doing our couple portraits too (as neither one of us are comfortable in front of a camera). All of our guests commented on how friendly, sociable and efficient/professional they both were. Richard had the perfect mixture of blending into the background so that we, as well as our guests, didn’t feel too conscious about the camera and having the personality to work with a crowd when facilitating family portraits and group shots.
Richard had given us clear expectations that it would take between 8-12 weeks to receive our photo gallery and he delivered on this promise. We were over the moon with all of our photo’s, they were what we had hoped for and more. Upon receiving our photo gallery we couldn’t stop looking at them – we loved being able to share them with our family and friends (all of whom adored them as well). We are beyond grateful to Richard that we have these stunning photos to treasure forever.
He is very talented. The photographs that we received just demonstrate how skilled and proficient he is in his craft. We would 100% recommend Richard to anyone. So much so that my sister used his services for her wedding in February 2023.

Richard was amazing before, during & after our special day! He is a genuine, easy going guy, who listened to exactly what we wanted. On the day he captured the natural, non forced shots that I really wanted. Majority of the time I didn’t even know he was taking photos because he did it so well. All my wedding guests said the same and I had a lot of compliments about him after. He provided us with some shots very soon after the wedding which was lovely and then we received all the photos within the time frame he promised. Very reasonably priced, reliable, friendly and a pleasure to have at our wedding! Richard was the photographer for our wedding at The Mill at Conder Green in August, and we’re absolutely thrilled with the photos he captured. Each image is stunning, and they perfectly tell the story of our day. These are memories we’ll treasure forever.

From our very first conversation, Richard put us completely at ease. He walked us through the day in detail, making sure he understood exactly what we wanted. He was patient, thorough, and left us feeling confident and excited for the big day.

On the day itself, Richard was an absolute star. He worked seamlessly with our videographer, Stephen, creating a relaxed and fun atmosphere throughout. Richard’s communication and organisation were flawless. We received a sample set of photos not long after the wedding, and the user-friendly online portal made downloading the high-resolution images incredibly simple. Shortly after that, we had the full set, and every photo was amazing.
