About

I’m Thomas, a photographer with 12 years of experience in the fashion industry. I have photographed for clients such as Harper’s Bazaar, Paul Smith, i-D Magazine and Roland Mouret, and shot record covers for labels Island Records and Sony. With this experience, I bring a unique vision and an eye for fine detail to your wedding and a distinctive style that contrasts with more traditional wedding photography.
More than anything, I like to photograph people, and portraiture is my biggest strength, so weddings are a time and place where this really gets to shine. It wasn’t until my wedding day, when taking photographs of my wife, that I had the lightbulb moment: I could create pictures for other couples on their special day and create something for them to treasure forever. Wedding photographs can leave a lasting impression for years to come, and I’d love to create images to touch the lives of others.
I specialise in film photography, using both medium format and 35mm. I still choose film in the digital age mainly because of the more considered process and sense of romanticism. Film photographs have that extra sense of aura and capture light in a way digital cannot. Shooting this way helps me focus on quality over quantity. Also, it produces more considered artefacts from one of the most important days of your life, which can stay in a family for generations to come. I also have over a decade of experience shooting professionally with digital, but I suggest using film at your wedding to ensure you capture the true magic of your day. If you really want digital photographs from your wedding, we can find the right balance between film and digital.
I’d love the opportunity to capture you in your very best light on your wedding day. Working in the fashion industry has given me a strong ability to adapt my skills to the vision of others, so we can work together to find a style of photography that works for you and fits perfectly with the special day that you have planned. I see wedding photography as a collaboration between the photographer and subjects rather than simply transactional.
