I’m Liam Keown, a freelance wedding photographer from Leicester. I’ve been lucky enough to do this incredible job for over ten years now and I can honestly say I still absolutely love it!
I'm based in the Midlands but I shoot weddings all over the UK and internationally, from Northumberland to Bali and a lot of incredible locations in between, so if you’re not getting hitched in Birmingham - don’t worry, I’m more than happy to travel to get to your perfect spot.
Choosing the right person to capture your special day is a big decision, and I know there are a lot of us out there to pick from. Hopefully, my portfolio will make the decision for you, but to make it easier to decide if I’m the right photographer for you, here’s a bit about me and how I like to approach the job.
I’ve always loved shooting people, the 500 Facebook albums of uni nights out can vouch for that. It’s always been about the candid moments, the fly-on-the-wall party shots and the “I can’t remember you taking that!” snaps.
I have a relaxed, unobtrusive approach to wedding photography, focused on capturing the energy and vitality of the occasion without getting in the way, I’m there to document all that magic, not to boss you about and line you up for a school photo… unless you want me to.
I like to approach every wedding differently and I like to get to know my couples beforehand as much as possible. We’re all different and every wedding has its own unique details, it’s important to make sure we’ve got the same vision.
When you book me for your wedding, we get to know each other long before the big day and I’m on hand to chat over any details, venue visits, engagement shoots and any other ways I can help. I know there’s a lot to deal with, so my aim is to make sure I’m one thing you don't need to stress about.

Tying The Knot offers 4 hour & 10 hour packages. I understand every wedding is different though so custom quotes are available. All packages include a pre wedding consultation, unlimited guidance with your planning and timeline, license to print your images & password protected online gallery for viewing, sharing & downloading your images.
