Vanguard Weddings is a company based in Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire that boasts more than ten years of experience in the industry. We provide both photography and videography across the whole of England & North Wales.
As a small business we take pride in getting to know our clients and you get to know the people behind the company name. We take this relationship seriously as we feel it is important that on your wedding day you can trust us to deliver without any worries but also be approachable and flexible should something change on the day.
This personal approach separates us from larger companies who turn over huge numbers of weddings per year. This means that the team you meet will be the same people from your first enquiry, to your wedding day and to delivering your photos and videos.
Our prices are openly on our website. These prices are fixed from your time of booking and there are no hidden costs so you will know what you can expect to pay before you even enquire about your date.

How far in advance should I contact you?
We book most weddings 12 - 24 months in advance! - Do try to contact us as soon as possible to make sure we have your date available
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, based between Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, working across these areas and most of the Midlands and North West covering all kinds of celebrations
What is the charge for travelling?
Nothing! There are no hidden costs with Vanguard Weddings you pay the price you see

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
We love to capture all parts of your wedding day. We work with every client to ensure we capture "what you want' after all, this is your day and we want to capture all that goes on
What kind of equipment do you use?
Professional level DSLR, video and photography cameras, microphones, audio equipment and occasionally we use our own lights. but nothing intrusive and we will always ask you first
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?

What's the delivery time for a photographic report?

How do you charge extra time?
There is no cut off time to your day. We stay till we have everything we need. If your day is running a little late, don't worry we won't charge you to stay longer
What are the forms of payment?
Bank transfer, cheque, cash in person. all payments to be made prior to the wedding day via our T&C
How do you work?
Our style is as unobtrusive as possible.. we try to catch the natural moments throughout the day and piece that together into a beautiful album for you and your family to see

Perfect Wedding Day
From the moment I stepped out of the car, to the cutting of the cake, to the final delivery of our photos, Vanguard made our day so much more than just memories. The photographer tailored our photos to our needs, taking personal, yet professional shots of the whole day. We gave him a brief idea of what we wanted and he delivered so much more. I couldn’t have had a better service anywhere else. He captured our day perfectly and presented the final photos in a picnic style hamper basket with 2 glasses and a bottle of champagne. We also received 10 prints of our choice and a usb drive with all the photos on. I would highly recommend Vanguard for your wedding day.

The perfect choice
Simon, Andrew and Stefan made our day one to remember, not only with their video and photographs, but also with how accommodating, professional and flexible they were. They listened to what we wanted and produced a beautiful record of our day that we will cherish forever. They are wonderful people - so friendly and we wouldn’t have chosen anyone else. Amazing service. Helped made our wedding perfect.
Stefan was our wedding photographer last year. He was excellent on the day and after the day when he couldn’t do more to help get our photos to us, delivering to our door on two occasions. On our wedding day Stefan was with the bridal party very early and stayed for the majority of the day making sure to capture photos of everybody and everything and checking in with us to see what specific photos we wanted taking. Faultless service
I Cannot fault the service received from vanguard and in particular Simon who photographed our wedding day. The photographs were stunning and ready for us to view promptly after the wedding. On the day everyone commented on how Simon blended in and they didn’t even know he was taking photos at times, whilst also feeling like he was one of our guests. The whole day went smoothly and we got all of the photos we wanted. Great service, friendly and efficient team, great quality photos and overall they contributed to making our wedding day perfect.
