Joanna was our photographer at our wedding at Southend Barns this October and she was absolutely amazing!! She captured our day perfectly and made both of us and all of our guests feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera throughout the day.

We couldn’t believe it when the next day Joanna had sent over 100 beautiful images of our day which we are absolutely in love with! Joanna did an incredible job at photographing our wedding last September at Southdowns Manor! I am absolutely obsessed with all of my pictures and have them displayed all over the house. Joanna was really helpful, super friendly and made us feel really relaxed during our engagement shoot and on our big day. She was very familiar with the venue which meant she knew all of the best places to get the group shots and get the details of the venue. Joanna photographed our wedding on 11/11/17 and we chose her because her images speak for themselves - effortlessly beautiful. Joanna also chose a very talented second shooter (would recommend that package as it’s really worth it!) We also loved her low light work and given that we had a winter wedding we were definitely not disappointed having just had access to our gallery images online. We are very excited to now be choosing our prints and framed images to go in our hamper package with the USB and we’ll be sure to pop up a selection of our favourites! We chose Joanna to photograph our wedding on 06/10/17. Joanna and her mum Audrey went above and beyond to ensure the day ran smoothly. Audrey even helped the groomsmen with their button holes! They both made us feel relaxed in front of the camera which definitely does not come naturally. We were over the moon with our photos! She provided a very efficient service and our photos were ready even before the specified time frame we agreed which was a lovely surprise. She captured our day perfectly from start to finish and we had so much fun looking through them. We decided to pay the extra and keep all the photos in the end as there were just too many brilliant ones to choose from!

We picked Joanna as we liked the style of the photos on her website, and when we met her in person we felt she had the same idea as we wanted for the day - plenty of casual, relaxed photos but also the necessary group shots. For both our engagement session and wedding Joanna made us feel at ease in front of the camera (not something we are good at!) and the pictures are absolutely lovely. We have a fantastic representation of our wedding day and will definitely be arranging an album or photobook shortly to showcase all the details Joanna & her assistant caught on camera on the day.

Where to start...Joanna is just an all round fantastic photographer! We were lucky enough to have her photograph our special day and nothing was too much to ask. Joanna and her lovely mum Audrey made us feel so relaxed when having our photos taken and between them they chose such lovely areas in the venue and had some brilliant creative ideas. Not only did they photograph our day beautifully, they helped with so much more during the day and helped make it run so smoothly. Audrey even popped home to get me some flat shoes when my little feet had had enough of heels and I really can't see anyone else doing all that! SO incredibly happy to have booked Joanna for our wedding day. We spent months looking for a photographer whose style suited what we wanted. When someone tagged her page on a wedding group and I looked through her photos we just knew that's what we wanted.
The whole process she was helpful and informative despite me being a VERY stressed bride (and indecisive to the last minute!)
On the day, Joanna and her mum when above and beyond to make everything perfect. Not just taking beautiful photographs (which came back incredible quickly), but helping me carry things, helping with my pants and shoes and even toilet trips! A couple of absolute diamonds!
They also helped me and my husband feel very at easy in front of the camera (something we normally find really difficult)

Choosing a photographer was one of the headrest decisions to make when planning our big day as you want someone who will capture your whole day and you as a couple just perfectly. When I came across Joanna and her work I knew instantly she was the lady for the job and Joanna did not disappoint! Our pictures are amazing and capture our day just perfectly. Joanna was so helpful on the day, we were very unfortunate with the weather and it rained all day but Joanna went above and beyond and didn’t let the weather phase her! Even getting down on the ground at one point just to capture the perfect shot. Joanna is very professional and you can tell is so passionate about capturing your day just right.
