Niall is a professional photographer and affable individual behind this venture. It’s one of his main objectives to create photos that transport couples back to their big day in years to come. Niall is dedicated to his role as a photographer and practices the art of encapsulating people’s love stories.
Services Offered
Wheelhouse On The Hill offers a variety of wedding packages to best suit your specific requirements. Their most comprehensive collection features an engagement or honeymoon photo session, full-day wedding coverage, a stop motion video of your celebration, unlimited consultations, and more. Engagement or honeymoon sessions often last between one-to-two hours and supply you with over 40 images that celebrate your recent proposal and loving relationship. All photos taken from your wedding can be professionally edited and presented on a beautiful wooden USB in a box with 10 free prints.

How far in advance should I contact you?
Ideally 6 to 12 months in advance since I only take on a select number of weddings per year. However, I can be available at shorter notice (:

I follow a documentary & photojournalist approach, this means I focus on capturing real, honest, raw emotion throughout your whole wedding day
What kind of equipment do you use?
Top spec Canon Mirrorless full frame bodies, pro class lenses, multiple flash guns with triggers/soft-boxes/tripods. I also love to bring out the smoke bombs and sparklers!

Brilliant photographer
Niall was the BEST photographer we could've chosen for our wedding day. He was so laid back, fun, and just a great person to have around - he made us feel so relaxed in front of the camera and produced some really beautiful photographs that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

The best photographer & the best photos!
You can’t fully get to know a person over a Zoom call, so it felt like a bit of a leap of faith when choosing a wedding photographer this way, however after seeing Niall’s previous work, we were sold.
Niall came in and instantly everyone felt comfortable around him, he popped in and out of our rooms whilst we got ready and we barely noticed he was there… mostly because he said “Pretend I’m not here”. Ha!
The real winning moment was my husband-to-be telling me at our first look that “Niall is such a lovely guy, he’s great!”
We are so glad that we chose Niall, despite our camera shyness, he brought out the best in us and we couldn’t be happier with our photos. He captured every special moment and gave us pictures that we will cherish forever.
A special mention for our stop motion video that is absolutely perfect and fills us with so much joy!

Incredible photographer!
Niall was a fantastic photographer to work with. From the pre-wedding photoshoot, which looked stunning despite the stormy weather and mud, to the day itself. Each photograph he took tells a story. The relaxed, un-intrusive style means each guest has been captured to show their true personality. Photographs are beautifully edited and looked incredible in all weathers. ( We had wind, rain, clouds, sun and blue skies!) The optional use of smoke bombs add a quirky flare to the day. We opted for a second photographer on the day to help capture all the key moments. She was equally as great to work with and super friendly. One thing that really makes this photographer stand out from the crowd is the stop-motion films created from the shoots. This is a beautiful way to commemorate the day from start to finish!

Very talented photographer - highly recommend!!
Wow - where to begin! Niall has been just amazing to work with from start to finish and it has been a true joy to now be able to relive our big day through our stunning wedding pictures. He has such talent at capturing all those special moments and the stop motion videos he does are just so unique and and a real treasure. Niall is super friendly and communicative and I really cannot recommend him enough, although his incredible work speaks for itself really! but if you are thinking of hiring him - honestly, do it!
