Our Real Wedding
An outdoor civil ceremony in the beautiful pergola at the exclusive hire Georgian manor house Eastington Park in Gloucestershire, UK. July 2023 was one of the wettest on record, yet we were blessed with a dry warm morning, and we had our hearts set on an outdoor wedding.
There is massive scope at Eastington Park for our guests to enjoy the surroundings with garden games and a swing plus ample indoor space. The confetti shower was fabulous and prosecco on the lawns joyous, whilst we had our family photos - but the rain eventually did arrive and we went indoors for our wedding breakfast meal.
Our florist - Bijoux Floral Designs - the lovely Rebecca - decorates Eastington Park regularly - and did a magnificent job of featuring the staircase and doing the centerpieces of our tables. Our DJ for the evening was Mobile Discos Gloucestershire who stuck to the brief and played our choice of music - and an added bonus - also provided their magic mirror photo booth which doubled as our guest book. This went down a treat and caused much hilarity among our guests throughout the night and they played with the props and posed for photos.
Continue reading »In the small hours of the morning, we retired to the sumptuous Honeymoon suite with the four-poster bed and woke up the next morning to our cooked breakfast with the rest of our guests. The Eastington Park staff were brilliant throughout the whole day and the entire wedding planning process. We can't praise them enough. It was a perfect day, we only wish we could do it again.
