Our Real Wedding
We got married on one of the sunniest days of the year, but also one of the windiest. Things went wrong - the best man forgot the ties and buttonholes for the groomsmen, the heating got stuck at the reception, and the cake knife broke while we were cutting it, but we didn't care.
It was a perfect day, and as many guests told us afterwards, "one of the most joyful weddings they had ever seen". Highlights were of course the ceremony itself in the beautiful church of St Joseph, the best man and maid of honour cracking everyone up with a fantastic joint speech, and dancing into the early hours of the morning to pop punk classics.
