Our Real Wedding

After 9 and a bit years together, this day was a long time coming. We got married in St Mary's Church and then had the wedding breakfast and reception at the Grand Marquee - Holiday Inn, Dover. We managed to duck and dive the rain to have the most wonderful of days. During the service Reverend Catherine delivered an uplifting service and our daughter sang whilst we signed the register. It was a real personal service. Following the usual photo calls we could relax and headed to our reception venue. All lit up with a thousand fairy lights it really did shimmer and glitter. Coupled with the feathers and trumpet base centrepieces we had been transported back to the glamour of 1920s. Between the venue and our centrepiece supplier they made the place look stunning. The food and speeches followed, hearing witty remarks and comments from the father of the bride, groom and best man. Now was the time to let loose, welcome some more guests and really enjoy the evening! The entertainment was led by Andy at Sugar Promotions who had been the master of ceremonies all day and ensured it ran smoothly and even threw in a highly amusing game of Mr & Mrs! The time flew by and the day was over like a flash and thanks to Fern & Martin at Fern's photography we have the most amazing memories!
