David and Abigail's Wedding in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire

Our Real Wedding

We met at age 14 at school, and David asked Abi out underneath the trees outside the school gates.

At age 16, David was diagnosed with Crohn's disease, and we stood by each other through over 7 years of in and out of the hospital, living over 2 hours apart during university, and just before our 13-year anniversary, aged 27, we got married at the beautiful Ashridge House in Hertfordshire.

David proposed in the beautiful gardens at Hever Castle, the birthplace of Anne Boleyn. Abi has always been a huge Tudor history buff, and it was a beautiful, sunny day in the perfect location. We have some stunning pictures from the day.

Abi wore a huge ballgown with sparkle across the corset top of the dress moving down to the skirt with a train. Beautiful blue heels with gold detailing around the heel. Her evening dress was a sequin sparkle feather tassel short dress.

David wore a black Morning suit with tails, a light blue tie, and a grey double-breasted waistcoat with shiny black shoes.
