Our Real Wedding

Our day was wonderful and a perfect combination for someone on a budget. We got married at Cheylesmore Manor in the afternoon. Myself and my bridesmaids stayed at a flat opposite the night before so we walked to the venue. The staff were incredible and we had some beautiful photos after. We were able to bring our dog Luna who walked down the aisle with one of the bridesmaids and my friends played clarinet for us.

We then went to the Barn at Berryfields for our reception, we were fortunate to be able to travel in my granddad's old car 'Elvis'. The groom and helpers had set up the venue in their tipi in the morning. We had welcome cocktails and my husband had made a giant connect 4 and outdoor games. We then had a hog-roast and we had created some games for the tables to play. We cut the cake and had it served while the staff flipped the room around to create a dance floor. We had a chocolate fountain and Mr whippy for desserts and danced the night away.

One of the best things was we took home all our left over pork and froze it (and gave lots away to friends) so when we came back from our honeymoon we could enjoy it for lots of meals.
