Our Real Wedding

It was a beautiful day at Bridal Barns in Bridgnorth, the perfect setting for our wedding—a day we knew would be remembered by everyone who attended. The sun shone brightly, offering a warm embrace without being overbearing—ideal for our celebration of love.The ceremony began promptly at 11:30 am. As our guests took their seats, the delicate and melodious sounds of Alerion Strings filled the air, playing "As the World Falls Down" by David Bowie. It set a serene and romantic atmosphere that was just perfect. We exchanged our vows surrounded by the natural beauty of the venue and the smiles of our 80 closest friends and family.Handmade decorations adorned the venue, each piece crafted with care and love, reflecting our personal touch on every aspect of the day. On the lawn, our guests enjoyed a variety of lawn games, all thoughtfully designed and made by us, adding a unique and playful element to the day.After the ceremony, the celebration continued with a delightful spread catered by Cakes & Catering. The centrepiece was a stunning cake, a true work of art, which was as delicious as it was beautiful.The evening came alive with the energetic sounds of The Pedal Tones, who had everyone on their feet, dancing the night away under the stars. There was a little surprise when we had our first dance to "You Grew on Me" by Tim Minchin, a choice that certainly added a personal touch to the evening.Every moment of joy and laughter was captured by the talented Ella Parkinson Photography, though we’re still eagerly awaiting the full set of photographs.Our rings, exquisite pieces from Diamond Heaven, symbolised our enduring love and commitment to each other.It was a day filled with love, laughter, and memories, made all the more special by the personal touches we added and the perfect weather. A day we will cherish forever.
