Jacob and Freya's Wedding in Kenilworth, Warwickshire

Our Real Wedding

We got married at ST Nicholas Church in Kenilworth at 1 p.m., the service was beautiful! We then went to our venue at Sheepy Meadows in Atherstone via VW Campervan and met our guests there. It had such a relaxing feel to it, a gorgeous Tipi set up with fairy lights, a snug room with a fire pit, and wooden tables and chairs for dining.

The centre pieces were white chiffon table runners with eucalyptus garlands with white flowers on top. Led candles were scattered along beside the garlands. The wedding favours for guests were little brown boxes with a eucalyptus stem on top containing polo mints, for the children they had activity packs to keep them entertained with a little toy.

Our cake was made by our wonderful friend, 5 tiers high, the bottom 4 tiers contained a mixture of brownie bites, blonde bites, sugar-coated doughnuts, macaroons, and salted caramel chocolate drops. The top tier was our cake- Lemon with lemon frosting throughout with a ‘naked cake’ look with white flowers trailing down the side. Our first dance was to Elvis- can’t help falling in love. Our 2 girls joined us in the dance halfway through. It was such a magical and perfect day!
