The BEST day ever!

We would 1000% recommend getting married at The Old Palace, Chester! It was a wedding venue that I had not heard of before, not the typical wedding venue in the north west that comes to mind and it was a hidden gem! The listed building was so beautiful with lots of history as well as more modern aspects. One thing that impressed me was the lovely bar area separate to the main room which was modern and felt like a sophisticated bar. There is a lovely garden at the front and a beautiful view of the river. I really liked the fact that not many family or friends had ever heard of the Old Palace before.The service at the Old palace is impeccable! It is one thing our guests kept saying to us after the wedding, nothing was too much and we felt like we were in good hands the whole way. The whole day ran perfectly thanks to Lauren and Lex. The food was impressive for our wedding breakfast. Our reception drink of the rose sangria was also delicious along with the canapés. I also loved the wood fired pizzas for our evening food. In terms of the cost, we were hesitant as the price is expensive but after the wedding day we believed it was worth every penny. Tip: Get some photo's in the Roman Gardens right next the the old place.Wishing we could do it all again!
