Our Real Wedding

Me and my husband have been together for nearly 13 years, we got engaged back in Dec 2019. Covid got in the way of our plans but come 2023 we began to plan our big day for Aug 2024.

We got married at Barnett hill Hotel, it was a perfect choice for us as it is a beautiful location near to where we live but also the hotel itself is so beautiful. We opted to book the entire place out so we could have everything in one place and have all the guests stay over and catch up again at breakfast the next day. A lot of our guests were traveling from afar so they stayed over the night before were the hotel put on a BBQ for us all.

For the big day i was hoping for sun and it came! So we had an amazing outdoor ceremony in the hotels perfect gardens, I booked a frozen margarita machine which was a massive hit with the guests. We also booked a band, a magic mirror, an audio book and set up a sweets table for the guests.

I design for a living so I created all the invites and signages for the day, one of the surprising hits was printed menus for each guest for the breakfast dinner. Everyone really loved that they could be reminded of the menus they had chosen so long before.
