21 Aug, 2024Our Real Wedding
As I awoke on the morning of August 21, 2024, a whirlwind of excitement and anticipation filled the air. Today was the day I would marry Jason, and as I prepared, I felt a mix of nerves and overwhelming joy. Swynford Manor, our chosen venue, was the perfect setting for our modern black and white-themed wedding—a vision we had meticulously crafted together. When I arrived at the manor, I was greeted by the sight of our welcome sign, which read, "Today I marry my best friend." A wave of emotions washed over me—joy, love, and a hint of disbelief that this day had finally come.
The ceremony itself was the highlight of the day. Standing beside Jason, surrounded by our loved ones, I felt an overwhelming sense of love and commitment. It was the most beautiful moment of my life, and as we exchanged our vows, everything else faded away; it was just us.
After the ceremony, we transitioned into the wedding breakfast, and that’s when the fun truly began. The groomsmen made their lively entrance to the “Men in Black” theme, bringing playful energy that had everyone laughing. The bridesmaids followed, sashaying into Eve’s “Who’s That Girl.” Initially, I thought this would be cheesy, but it turned out to be an absolute delight, and their joy was infectious.

As the sun set on our magical day, I couldn’t help but feel grateful. Today was not just the culmination of our plans but the beginning of our journey together as Mr. and Mrs. Ung. I looked at Jason, my heart full, knowing we had created memories that would last a lifetime.
