Our Real Wedding

To be able to say we had the perfect wedding day with the amount that went “wrong”, it must have been truly special! The day started with the taxi not showing up to bring the makeup artist to the venue and receiving a message from the wedding coordinator that she had been admitted to hospital and couldn’t make it (we hope she is okay!). The cake was then involved in a car accident on the journey to the venue, and I was later stung by a bee! Despite these mishaps, the feeling of getting married was just a new level of happiness which we can only describe as euphoric. For all the bad luck we had, we also had some incredibly good luck - the rain stopping just 30 minutes before the ceremony, and most of all Jason somehow not seeing me in my dress when we accidentally ended up in the same corridor, no more than a metre apart, just before the ceremony. We had an unbelievable day being showered in love and could not be happier to be spending the rest of our lives together.
